  1. He'll go down for manslaughter in the derby if Sunderland sign an Argie.
  2. I don't think there's many, if any, putting a knife into Eddie. It's just you that interpret questions/defence about Mitchell as criticism of Eddie, or questions/criticism of Eddie as defending Mitchell. That article is pure speculation. For all we know we could have offered Isak a new deal. We don't even know if there were any promises made by Stavely.
  3. It's actually £115k pr week since his no champions league 25% wage reduction clause kicked in as soon as he signed for them. Should have read the small print at the end of the contract the dumb cunt. Man Utd win again.
  4. How to avoid playing annoying pre-season matches: Each team does 10 subs each at different intervals thoughout the game.
  5. Any chance Spurs would sell Bergvall now at a reasonable price before he becomes the best midfielder in the world? Everything about him impresses me. Only 19 years old and is out there winning duels against Joelinton before he dribbles past a man and puts a long pass on the lace of a team mate.
  6. Love it. Everyone on the pitch, everyone in the stadium, everyone watching on tv knew what Barnes was going to try, and he still manages it and scores
  7. It's so bizarre to me how un-coordinated Pope is with his body Been doing athletic shit his whole life and can barely get one foot in front of the other without losing his balance.
  8. Isak failed in Germany. Should avoid at all costs.
  9. Lascelles doesn't deserve to be associated with the Ashley dead wood. Hayden is the last.
  10. Oh boy, can't wait to read the 100 different interpretations on here of these vague statements that says nothing specific about Isaks behaviour/conduct, and how it means that Isak is a cunt.
  11. I haven't said we've failed in our transfer policy, I'm saying it isn't sustainable to continue like we did, and as you can see from the last few windows it wasn't. Of course buying whomever you want to bridge the gap works
  12. What rumblings? There's been one report indicating that some players had tried to convince him to stay, and that he didn't want to. Most likely bullshit. He shouldn't mend anything unless something factual comes out that he's been trying to engineer a move away. Not to players and especially not to feral fans who has spent the last week or two making up scenarios in their own heads where the situation has beccome progressively worse and worse without really knowing fuck all. If he starts the first game for us and nobody within the club (including himself) has said anything about him leaving, he deserves the benefit of the doubt and be cheered as any other of our players.
  13. We could see if it's possible to do a loan back to Southampton for a slightly reduced fee. Murphy is 30 so would be nice to have his successor ready and have Elanga & Dibling competing for the RW spot the next 7-8 years.
  14. Fingers crossed he's not the new Shelvey and actually shows consistency rather than a short spell of form after coming out with such a statement.
  15. This opinion is so fucking stupid. You know nothing and only base it on speculations and feelings. How about you wait until there is anything official from club or player first? If we hear nothing from either party, he stays here and joins training/match when fit, then what? Bridge burnt for him because the media were mean to us?
  16. Must have been some tough negotiations behind closed doors to make that one happen.
  17. Quoted for next page in case it helps give some perspective to just one of the mentally damaged doomers on here.
  18. Ironically I think Haaland is a better fit for us than Isak, and Isak is a better fit for Man City than Haaland. Swap deal?
  19. Nah, trustworthy sources from N-O has confirmed that it is a % of the entire fee, not just the profit.
  20. Since we're theory crafting, it could also be miscommunication. Say Isak was expecting an improved contract, but Mitchell was intending to offer an improved and extended contract which Isak may not have been interested in, so we ended up not offering him anything since it wouldn't be accepted anyway?
  21. He seems tailor made for the PL though with his speed and physicality. I'd be more sceptical if it was a fox in the box type of striker with smart movement and decent finishing but no other defining qualities. If we sell Isak, this is the type of player we need to take a gamble on so we have the chance to improve the team in multiple positions rather than just signing someone proven ready to be a like for like replacement for almost as much as we get for Isak.
