Great takes today. Not sure which one is the winner: - Brighton has been sussed & De Zerbi is an overrated fraud or - Rice is overrated since Arsenal drew and West Ham is winning without him
-
From his Everton days Moyes did seem to follow a poor season up by a good one. Looks like he's copying the same pattern for Wham.
-
But but but haven't you heard that statistically they don't get many calls in their favor compared to any other team in the league?
-
Not often you can hear the rain falling to the ground through the TV on a PL broadcast
-
Norwegian commentators are calling him U-doggie. That about right?
-
Lucky finish after a decent run.
-
He barely managed to make contact with the ball. Done nothing else this game. At least he had the Tottenham team training to co-ordinate the celebration for his first goal.
-
I'll stand corrected then. Transfermarkt had them both down as right footed.
-
Not so good short term for Liverpool, but they'd be mad to turn down £120m for a 31 year old winger whos main weapon is his pace. Only other left footed player who can play that position is Harvey Elliott so would be interesting to see how Klopp would line up without Salah and without a replacement.

Passing and vision of Gattuso. Aggression and tackling of Pirlo.
-
God I hope Chelsea gets punished for going into cruise control on 1-0 at home to Luton.
-
Based on what? He sacrifices his brain nearly every game by not pulling out of aereal challenges. For some reason opposition players haven't learnt yet that he'll see it through and doesn't pull out either.

Going from 7 to 10 is a 43% increase, which you say is "a slight hint that things could be a little bit better" so I guess we're both way off the mark.
-
Because you come off as the football equivalent to the 2/10 meme "a slight hint that things could be a little better" sounds more like a 9/10 to me (would bang).
-
Don't know in detail what you guys are discussing as I'm just jumping in on the last page but.... He's been here almost 7 months. He's had a longer "pre-season" than anyone else in our squad by playing regularly and reaching the final in the U21 Euros. Those two points you make are simply not valid.

Don't forget Romain Amalfitano

Speak for yourself Unless you mean up until the takeover was confirmed.
-
Not entirely correct. Man City tend to buy quite a lot of young 20-21 year olds. They are buying players a tier over us in term of quality though.
-
Man Utd will be around the top towards the end of the season, and everybody will be just as perplexed as last season as to how tf they got there.
-
Hope it's either a progressive, performance based or short term deal so we're not left behind in a few years on a long deal which by that point could be considered poor like that Spurs deal running till 2033.
-
Has he been a huge success? Regardless of being on a free I'm sure he had a decent sign on bonus and wages. He never looks anything special to me, and for an attacking midfielder he rarely contributes with goals or assists. Genuine question btw I don't watch a whole lot of Man Utd, and certainly don't go looking for obscure stats to see if he's successful by such and such metric

Depends entirely on what you mean by "needed". Are we already too late in upgrading him? Do we NEED to do it immediately in order to achieve X? Do we NEED to do it some undefined time in the future? It's very vague and open to interpretation. I think we've strengthened more pressing positions this season. Happy to have Almiron as first choice this season and would like to see at least younger competition for him next summer. Based on last season he's one of the best wingers in the league in a group of players just below your Salah/Saka/Martinellis.

It was a bit painful to watch Bruno try to catch up with Foden when he got past him. Phoden was faster with the the ball than Bruno is without it Other than a physical limitation he can't do anything about and one mistimed kick he did well. Expect him to be one of our best performers this season.
