Seems like your mate is living on the stereotype he got plastered with when he first arrived at Feyenoord, rather than actually looking at what he accomplished later on in the season.
-
It's not a prediction. Not sure how many more "potential" clarifications I could possibly put in to make that clear like
-
It's not as much how it looks, but rather what it represents I reckon. Will buy the kit this year for the first time since 2010.

I'd rather take a points deduction than selling Minteh to Liverpool tbh Not only because he is one of the most highly rated talents in the world, but because its Liverpool.
-
Chelsea could have had Salah & De Bruyne through their entire careers and gone on to become an even greater club than they are (trophy wise). Arguably the two of the best players in the PL the last 10 years. Look at the state they are in now. If Liverpool are prepared to pay that kind of money for a 19 year old Minteh, that tells me they see him as a potential replacement for Salah. Would be ridiculous to sell Yes we may have to sell some talents to comply with FFP, but hope the club is wiser than selling the type of talent that could potentially be a generational one who has shown nothing but progress and playing regularl top league football since he moved to Europe 2 years ago.

21 years old keeper with 1 season of league 1 and 1 season of PL experience to train, learn, provide competition and cover for Pope? Sounds good to me.
-
Good. I'm probably naive, but hopefully they improve on how to use it to avoid insane delays on decisions. Too scarred by awful (and/or corrupt) decisions going against us on a regular basis before VAR. We still get the odd one, like the one this season I can't for the life of me remember, and Crystal Palace last season, but the frequency is a lot lower than it used to be. We also seem to get a lot more penalties we'd never in a million years get before. Net positive for us.
-
Liverpool are really meticulous with their transfers. It's not down to Arne Slot, but a whole transfer team. If they are prepared to pay that kind of fee for Minteh now, I'd put good money on us being better off long term by keeping him and playing him regularly starting next season. He's the blueprint of what Howe expects of his wingers so would slot in nicely rather than having to take the Hall route.
-
Don't think so personally. If he plays well he'll obviously stay, but if he doesn't and ends up on the bench I can't see who would be able to justify matching his wages to get him let alone pay a transfer fee on top of that. Just see how we've struggled with our over paid free transfer cast offs.

If true, €20m sounds like a special Man Utd only offer from Ineos.
-
Surprised it was only 4 year deal. Guess it sets him up for his last free transfer at 30.
-
Difference between "home shirt" and "authentic home shirt"?
-
Yet nobody cares beyond the 30 people that attend the matches.
-
Obviously concerned about his fitness record, but good piece of business on paper. Can cover many positions, fairly young, solid squad player.
-
Wouldn't say they are impressive finds as they were well known talents. Credit to Palace for having the guts to go in early on them and having confidence they could step up to a higher level though. Wish we would take that gamble more often. Last young talent we picked up from the Championship while being in the PL being Lascelles in 2014..?

I've just assumed he's never chosen his own username or avatar after his first, and just rolled with whatever the mods have bestowed him? Or has it always been Froggy?

Granted Mbuemo had a nasty ankle injury this season, but his injury record is impeccable otherwise. If it was between him and Olise I think I'd prefer Mbuemo as Olise seems to have a hamstring made out of uncooked spaghetti. Links with Olise, Tierny, Smith Rowe, Chiesa etc scare the hell out of me, especially after this season
-
Plenty of big names has gotten jobs they didn't deserve, on even less merit than Kompany, and go on to do great things. Some football philosophies are more suited for players with more quality than what Burnley could muster in the PL. Think he'll do quite alright at Bayern.

Please buy Fraser

Tbf there are some proper weirdos supporting us that has had meltdowns going by what they've posted in that thread , well worthy of that amount of ridicule. Quite a few posts on here could easily end up there to extend the thread to 40+ pages too.

Guess who's going to concede a goal from a cut inside from the right and slotted into the far side of the goal if we sell Almiron to a PL club
-
Pope looked shaky af against Brentford, so don't think throwing him in earlier, in a more important game, really was the right choice after all, and I'm not entirely sure we'd have done better this season if we signed De Gea on massive wages and threw him straight into the team after 7 months without a club like you wanted to

What a season it has been Pretty decent all in all, despite what feels like "literally everything" going against us. Good thing we aren't alsorans then.
