I don't think there is anything wrong with people being negative or positive on any potential signing. There will be times when we are proved wrong and sometimes right. Surely the first two games have shown them that their squad is ill prepared. They always pack their team with a bunch of loanees, those tend not to come in until the bigger clubs have finished up building their squads, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were very active on deadline day in the loan market. If Moyes keeps them up this term, may be a bigger achievement than anything he did at Everton, perhaps that's the draw for him. He maybe gone by Christmas though based on his traditional slow starts and their lack of patience and thought process of new manager bounce will save them.

We need the numbers if we lose Janmaat, is he the right player we need, I'll take those who have watched him play word for it. Semtex sounds awfully concerned so that's not good, having said that Janmaat's form has been very up and down and getting players to play for a championship club must not be easy.

For a couple of million, probably worth the gamble. Getting back to full fitness though is going to be an achievement in itself for the lad. If the signing is purely to supplement the squad rather than a player that we expect to return and are reliant upon him then that's a cocern, but he's replacing someone in the squad who hardly played a game for us in 2 and a bit years for a lot more money, so really can't go too wrong here as long as the price is right.

I didn't see the game at all, other than the goal and some brief highlights but the reports make this a huge concern, we've gotten away with it so far, but he's going to start costing us goals, games and points soon unless he picks it up. We can't afford to wait for a keeper to get in form, we've got an adequate replacement along with a quality keeper soon to return from injury surely. I would make the change now before it costs us.

If anything RB is stocked, even if Janmaat leaves, t's the other fullback position that's the big issue we really need to resolve.
