  1. Could be a vital signing really, Darlow has been ok lately but we've needed a true number 1 for a while, if this lad fits that description, it really could be a signing that can keep us up.
  2. That's a lovely picture, shame we are probably still paying the bulk of his wages though.
  3. Amazed the club let them in with that, probably didn't see the full message until in was unfurled. Great work by all you guys involved, thank you so much.
  4. Highly doubt either him or Slimani will not sign, after being brought over, unless they fail a medical or have work permit problems.
  5. If Rafa leaves, I would like us to go for the Fulham manager assuming we've not swapped divisions in the meantime, which is still likely.

If we can somehow get through the next set of games that look pretty tough on paper, clear of the relegation zone, I think we'll be fine, our run in isn't as tough as some. Still very tough to pick three who will drop, Swansea looked goners a couple of weeks ago, WBA too looked deep in trouble but both have picked up and have players that can save them. The three promoted teams, who for most part of the season have stayed just out of trouble could all very well end up going back down.

Was excellent I thought tonight. Unlucky with the effort against the post (which Atsu wants shooting for missing the follow up), won the penalty, and got the assist for the goal, couldn't really ask for more.
  8. Burnley are a terrible side who were playing well for first half of the season, well above their level just like Huddersfield/Brighton. They have been showing their true level for the past 6-7 games and this was the perfect time to play them. This is a terrible result, no two ways about it. We're constantly throwing away points at our main rivals, so "better days ahead"? It can hardly get much f***ing worse can it. They were absolutely dreadful tonight any team with a decent striker would have comfortably beaten them, but that's not us, we have much tougher looking fixtures coming up than this one, it should have been 3 points and could well be crucial at the end of the season.
  9. Move up one spot despite that, but fucking hell that was a huge 2 points lost.
  10. Pathetic now, hanging on against a really poor team tonight.
  11. It was never a corner but you've got to defend it better than that.
  12. Can't afford to miss penalties or chances like Joselu did.
  13. They are really nothing, no idea how they are so high in the table. Not winning this game is a huge missed opportunity in the situation we are in.
  14. Saved us a point in the last home game, probably cost us two tonight, it was as bad a penalty as you'll see.

Watford confirm N'dong signing, loan with view to permenant deal, doesn't help Sunderland's finances a whole lot. The loan fee though may allow them to bring someone in as a replacement.
  16. Need to see the copper top in a red shirt before celebrating this one.

Wow just saw Villa's form they've won their last 5 games, looks like they will comfortably make at least the playoffs now.
  18. From a business perspective, it's the only thing that makes sense. Why p*ss off the only person interested in buying what you are selling when you are pretty close on price and package... scratch that forgot that the seller is a f***ing idiot.

Where's that goal celebration gif of his: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42720478 He's off his tits, his whole rational is based on his time at preston where they changed the manager survived and the following season made the playoffs, it's obviously the exact same situation he's in now with his current team.
  20. I've liked what I've seen from him in a black and white shirt, obviously Rafa hasn't, it is strange when he's given game time to a lot of players who've looked far worse. Will be a shame to see him go but if he's not in the manager's plans then it's probably for the best.
  21. Then the deal was off a fortnight ago when we started talks with others. I’ve specifically looked for that term since this whole shitshow started and not seen it. You are right, Exclusivity has never been mentioned before and it is hugely important, but wouldn't it only come into consideration had the parties verbally agreed a fee ? And the Ashley camp are the ones stating there was either never a bid or only a bid that fell short of their valuation. Why give exclusivity to someone who hasn't met you price when others potentially could, would be ludicrous.
  22. So can we officially say HTT, is a bullshitting wanker now ?
