That's a pretty decent figure for a L1 club tbh, they'll break 20k (reported) on most matchdays. Not going to keep them re-entering debt like.

Honestly I wouldn't be overly concerned if we spent the remainder of our budget say 30 or 40 million on a striker, and filled the rest of our needs with loans. We've really got to get the position sorted it's the biggest hole, problem is it is also the most expensive one to fill.

The Dubravka signing is a good sign, the player did mention they were linked. However the May 31st deadline for the option probably had a big part to play in it too. The one thing though we can be pretty confident about is that both parties are talking, otherwise the Dubravka deal probably wouldn't have gone through.

I tend to agree with that assessment, very much meh signing if we did it, and would command a bigger wedge than really he deserves. Rather spend the limited money we'll have elsewhere.

Because he's a good coach? He was doing a great job before they refused to let him go before. I mean that's very unprofessional on his behalf but I don't think that should detract to what he was doing before that happened. In both his jobs in England he's started well and it's kind of fell apart near the end of his time. Will be interesting to see how he does It fell off a cliff at Watford, understand that his head was turned, but he had a job to do and the drop off in performance was scandalous, if they hadn't sacked him when they did they would have probably gone down. Would have me very worried if I was looking to bring him in to my club. I can't make my mind up on him, tbh.

The cost will definitely not put her off. She is wanting to come back over to England to study, that'll cost a lot as although she was born there and is of course a citizen, when they class you they look at residency over the last three years rather than citizenship, which is fair enough because I haven't obviously been paying UK taxes during that period, so why should the UK tax payers help pay for my daughters education ? With 4 kids and one on the way we simply don't have the finances to pay for her, so she'll either have to get a scholarship somehow or pay it all her self.
