Three flags out of seven with ‘FTM’ on!
  2. He was absolutely magnificent on the darts too - R.I.P
  3. Pope would definitely have been privately told that’s he’s starting first choice or he wouldn’t have signed with the impending World Cup! I love Dubs so would be sad to see him go but he should be playing week in, week out to be fair!
  4. Blatter and Platini acquitted of corruption - SHOCK!

The hatred and bile is something else on there mind - just had a look and it seems to go up about 100 pages a week! How any of our lot can be arsed posting on when you don't even have a debate - it's just "bloody money / Saudi United / owners are murderers / kill Yemen kids / have sex with with 12 year olds" blah blah etc is beyond me! I always laugh when I see posts stating that they would walk away from supporting them if they had our owners! Piss off man! Human rights has only been an issue on there since October 7th 2021! I've got a lot of red and white mates with living in Hebburn (I was actually best man for one at the SOS dressed in red and white - the shit-house!) and 99% of them are nothing like the posters on there!
  6. I'll be at West Auckland tomorrow night to watch Hebburn!

They're mental - five people liked the post where he hilariously scribbled 'FTM' on a 'gravy-stained' top FFS! Absolute weirdos!
  8. We were in a dire situation and desperately needed a focus point and presence up top and Wood provided that - he was a short term fix and helped drag us away from the relegation zone!

Also on that thread, someone is blaming Rafa for giving him an apparent 80K a week contract........erm, that was Bruce! Nice to see they're hatred for Rafa is still going strong!

Erm, I can’t recall any other NUFC player literally taking the piss out of them whilst celebrating a goal (Barnsley last game of the Championship)! https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/dwight-gayle.1582988/ SAFC1962 Midfield 43 minutes ago #4 Weardale warrior said: I'd take him Plus I think he would have a point to prove to the Saudis Fair point, also, unlike some of his mag brethren, I don't think he has ever taken the piss out of us.
  11. Yep, that’s correct! I’m sure he went for something stupid too like £3m FFS!
  12. Last year we couldn't afford (well, the bellend owner wouldn't sanction it!) a loan deal for a Leicester reserve!
  13. I remember that - we could have Carrick when he was leaving West Ham but Shepherd took the piss and off he went to Spurs!
  14. Cheers mate - appreciate that!
  15. Eh, how long has Viana been in this role?! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10968443/amp/Man-United-Sporting-Lisbons-Hugo-Viana-REFUSES-rule-dream-return-Cristiano-Ronaldo.html

I remember that at the airport as well as the big advert "the only place to watch Premier League football in the North East" with a big photo of the SOS when we were relegated! Small time wankers!
  17. Absolute joke this lot - relegate them and send Burnley back up! https://theathletic.com/3389898/2022/06/30/premier-league-everton-losses/ But crucial to this story is Everton’s claim that it got a worse case of COVID-19 than any other club in the country. In her foreword to the 2020-21 accounts, club chief executive Denise Barrett-Baxendale writes: “The pandemic has had a profound effect on all of us and these accounts show the scale of that impact on our club from a financial perspective. “Losses of at least £170 million are attributed to the impact on the club of COVID-19, with a further market analysis indicating that the figure could be as much as £50 million higher. For the year covered by these accounts, £103 million of the losses are associated to the pandemic.” Everton counted the cost of playing matches behind closed doors (Photo: Peter Byrne – Pool/Getty Images) If that sounds like a lot of money for a club with match-day revenue of just £14.2 million in 2018-19, the last audited season before the pandemic struck, it is because Everton are also counting the cost of the rebate clubs had to pay broadcasters for the interruption to the 2019-20 season, a reduction in commercial income and the impact coronavirus had on the global transfer market.

it was aye - sure the first game with level 7 was midweek vs Derby?! Which seems odd for the start of the season as it’s normally two weekend games in a row?! Cordone scored iirc too?!
