No doubt an open letter Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is winging its way to David Cameron as we speak. Informing all how nasty we have been, accusing us of being a colonial power by not letting an international defender join SL for nothing .

Sold Gazza preseason brought in Hendrie, Beasant et el. Think it was 2-2 at home to Liverpool.......my personal favourite Mira memory leaving Hansen on his arse scoring at Gallogate end on a soaking Pitch. After Mirandinha had absolutely nothing to shout about till KK.

Hopefully. If he isn't relying on Williamson every week then that might give him more confidence. Somehow I doubt it though, he's a conservative manager through and through, and it's costing us every single game. To be fair, he wasn't conservative against Man U and Arsenal. We went all out against them. That is what we should do against the 'lesser' teams. He undid all of that though by introducing Shola and reverting to hoof mode at 3-3 in both games. Havent a clue what his thinking was with Arsenal game subs and by the looks of things nor did the players we where all over the shop after his tinkering........worse decisions than yesterday to be frank.

I thought at the time that the fans' reaction would be harmful to the team, I think that's fair comment. It's the double-edged sword of SJP. Obviously it's not an excuse, but it's a factor. It was a negative reaction to a negative action by the manager, did he expect to hear applause? No, of course not, I was raging as well. I'm just saying that SJP can be a hard place to play when things aren't going for you. No doubt but i think a lot of the negativity was caused by the manager and directed towards him because of his negativity rather than the players.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21102594 Blames the fans for negativity around the stadium. His audacity knows no bounds.

MA and DL would look like right dicks sacking him so soon after signing an eight year contract could be one of things in his favour plus who else would work them them to be honest.

Good post I was beginning to give up on this forum. Utterly s*** post you mean? Stick the "moral high ground, we're just being rational" garbage in your pipe and smoke it. Reading had 2 shots on target both went in, their shot accuracy was 28.6% we had 7 on target 53.8 %. We had 55% of the possession, We won 63% of headers, we made 436 passes with 80 % success compared to their 371 with 68.7%, we had 36 crosses they had 11, I could go on because we beat them all over the pitch any stat you want to bring up. Slag stats off all you like ( thats always the next reply to a stats related post) we were the better team by a mile, we were beaten by s*** luck plain and simple one 3 metre slide-athon arms and all and some t*** miss kicking a shot into a pass. We didn`t score more because we have only one ST who is out of form badly. Pardew didn`t bring Cabaye off to make us play worse, he would have been informed by professionals how many minutes he could risk him for. We have seen plenty of managers ignore advice to get 3 points only to loose a player for a further 5 months and then we would be 100% down without him. I put money on the fact that Marv as brilliant as he was in the first half did absolutely f*** all in the second. Santon is poor defensively. Booing does make players play worse when they are shot to bits on confidence and not to mention I hope no new/potential signings are watching. To be totally honest I`m not even sticking up for Pardew because there is alot better out there out of work but get a grip what do you see when you watch football because I saw what Skirge did.. The only stat that matters in all honesty especially today is the goals scored. Under not a lot of pressure until his subs. Not great goals by the mighty Reading but they counted we where beaten by Pardews negativity today rather than luck.

Nigel Adkins sacked. Mauricio Pochettino appointed new Southampton manager
nfrederi replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
You know if he even speaks English? Dont think he does speak English Saints fans seem disgusted with this decision also http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?42459-Adkins-SACKED-OFFICAL!!!!! http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/fb_mb.php?m=v&t=72617#20 -
Thing is there are only 4 Champions League places up for grabs and Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City have pretty much got 3 of them on a permanant basis with Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton for starters competing for last berth. With our team we should really be competing also if we manage to add to the squad. Really seems a big risk to keep throwing money at it especially when the strategy does'nt seem to working in the first place. An awful lot of money to literally throw away to gain survival then push on in the hope of catching them when would you stop throwing more money at it? Villa and Lerner tried but couldnt quite manage it and its not looking too good for them and to be honest a far bigger club than QPR.

The San Lorenzo thing looks like simple opportunism to make themselves look big time players, doesn't exactly paint them in a good light Nor his Father if he is involved with San Lorenzo.............why not compassionate leave until end of season if illness is very serious and see where we are after that. Hes a rich man and would he want to continue to play for anyone under these circumstances?
-
Then fuck him.......he doesnt go

Unless Pardews been dipping his wife tell them to stick their deadline up their arses Lammens added: "Coloccini's arrival is very difficult. We can't go out and buy him; we have always said that we depended on the desire of the player to rescind [his deal]. "We can offer him a very good contract in the case of him rescinding, but San Lorenzo have nothing left to do with regards to the negotiating." Surely if we havent given permission for them to talk to Coloccini this is illegal tapping up of a player. Seem to be a law unto themselves
-
No its not and therein lies the problem. 1st 11 too good maybe but overall our squad is poor having to bring in certain players who obviously are not good enough or not yet ready. After the last 3 games worry we dont have the fight in us to keep us clear of the relegation battle

FYP. A difficult run of games coming up Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal at home, games at Sunderland and Norwich will prove very tricky think i may agree with the above. By the sounds of things was ripped a new arsehole by his bosses over his Carroll comments so will be under an awful lot of pressure if very few points on board by end of September lots of questions over his system and I dont think he has a plan B. Still dont think he will play Carroll much would be interesting to see what would happen if the powers that be at Liverpool start pushing for Carroll to get more game time. What a mess that club is Much because of Kenny. The fans will never accept facts and look at it that way Rodgers is going to become a handy scapegoat i reckon.

Yep for last couple of weeksDoncaster has been using the threat of a SPL 2 as a stick to beat the smaller SFL clubs into voting the way he wants Rangers Newco into Div 1 rather than Div 3

Will surprise ourselves and score early doors.......... will proceed to park the bus but unfortunately as usual will be unable to string two passes together keep any kind possession as Gerrard sprays 35 yard diagonal passes to no one in particular. Will wilt under constant French pressure and lose 1-3. Afterwards we will blame in on the heat and a long hard season.

Would imagine Juventus fans would be able to tell you how much class they have had in the past

Cant really see where the next point is coming from for Villa. QPR i can see getting 3 points at home to Stoke Bolton have game in hand 2 x home games against Spurs and West Brom. Wigan at home to Wolves last day of season as well as facing Blackburn away, a long shot I reckon but could be going down without any help from ourselves. For some reason keep playing The Beach Boys "wouldnt it be nice" in my head

Always been an embarrassment calling press conferences in a pub off London Road while at Celtic
