From the BBC No wonder he missed sounds pretty gruesome to boot
-
Liam Miller, Martin Oneil wanted to build a side around him at Celtic but lured by bright lights of Manchester never cut it at Old Trafford went to Leeds on loan and then to our friends down the road and looks like hes on his way out there too.

Have seen far worse in my time, which means i am far too old. Its partly a confidence thing with these players as soon as we concede we fold, need us behind them more than ever HOWAY THE LADS
-
Thats the old magic of the FA Cup dont see it often but when it happens form different divisions quality and class go out the window. Its why we still see endless replays of Ronnie bloody Radfords scuffed shot etc
-
Relax he wont and even if we did go down would be churlish to accuse Keegan of all our woes this has been coming for a few seasons now. Boro wont win FA Cup either. One thing for sure whoever does win it will automatically get boasting rights ie we have won more than you in last fifty odd years even Coventry can do it, hell Bristol Rovers and Barnsley fans next?

The 1990 FA Cup was the best i can remember, tremendous matches in both semis and first game in the final was a classic
-
Jeez its been a strange kinda season.........think West Brom could be the first team outside of the premiership/old 1st division to win it in donkeys would imagine its gonna be an open final no matter who gets there
-
Dont agree that we even ground out 0-0s under Allardyce so little difference if not a little worse off. If the board knew that they wouldnt want to back him in January window should have made the decision to get rid of sooner but thet hesitated would have been difficult for any one bringing playeers in during that window and unless we added to squad it always gonna be difficult 2nd half of season. My anus not exactly contracting like John Leslies at a swedish book launch yet but gotta get the monkey off our back and get a resut from somewhere

If we want a true classless society first step is getting rid of these outdated bloody awards dont think anyone should get one up the revolution

Man Utd always geared for success just needed the right man in charge which they got with AF whereas we have not been, always known as a selling club, especially in the eighties with a very unambitious poor board. This changed dramatically with the ousting of Mckeag & co the ground squad and everything about the club was transformed. However one poor managerial decision after another since KK departed (bar BR, who if i could rewrite our recent history would have taken over from KK rather than show loyalty to Barca) has left us where we are now. If, and in my opinion, it is still a big if we go down It will be different to the last time in the late eighties we have an ambitious board and a manager who believes in playing football who i definately loves this club and City. We will not be allowed to stagnate in the Championship, and still think we we have pretty much a full house every home game even if its just about bloody defiance. Dont think it will come to that though 2 already as good as down the teams around us esp Bolton, Mackems and Boro come to mind have as hard a run in as we do if not a little more difficult. KK has us playing good football it just needs the goals to come and a rub of the green and we will get what we need to survive. It is up to the board to then prove their ambitions.

Honestly think even if it did happen there would still be 52,000 every fortnight and a massive traveling support

This one? http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/check/player/sol/newsid_7270000/newsid_7273500?redirect=7273558.stm&news=1&nbwm=1&bbwm=1&nbram=1&bbram=1 That prob the one.......on bbc site Dont think that he could have been clearer on why he spoke to KK, the Houghton and Wise appointments as well as the continuing rumours that they are looking to sell up (even then the interviewer tried to put words in his mouth) Agree with Big Geordie and others everyone wants a bite at the moment and more of a story if they can engineer KK to walk, relegation or Ashley to sell. The recent Daily Mail article however was the worst bit of reporting i have seen and i tell you if I was Mike i'd get my writs out
-
It's amazing where this stuff comes from Listened to the Mort interview amazing how they twist things isnt it. If I had Big Mikes money think they would be getting their arses sued
-
Take a look at Boros they are horrible not scared yet
-
Should be relegated due to Arthur Askey, Terry from minder and the millions their owners wasted getting an inquiry into a drunk driving accident. Follow Greenock Morton as second team cos not only closest club to me i'm a glutton for punishment
-
What if we had appointed Bobby Robson rather than Daglish to replace KK
-
To be honest not seen the same amount of articles with so much loathing and hatred directed at other clubs, I think its nailed on the press/system actually hate Ashley and are subsequently turning up the heat on us as they try to nail him
-
The only appointment that could come close to uniting the club, fans and players. A top class European coach in my opinion was out of the equation. Someone like Rednapp or Hughes would have just split opinion the way Big Sam did amongst us. When you stop and think about it, it may have been a brave appointment by Ashley and Mort but it was the only one they could make in all honestly and i am glad that they pulled it off. Will he be a success this time around. I think he will be though success to me at this moment in time would be UEFA cup qualifying place within the next couple of seasons. Its been mentioned that footballs changed in the last few years since he quit City but bar new money I dont think that its changed that dramatically. You can see changes in the game from now compared to 10 or 20 years ago football has always evolved but in essence its still a simple game where you need to score more than you concede its not a massive change in the 3 years or so since hes been running his circus in Glasgow. As for the press its in their interest that Keegan fails or walks away, it will sell more papers than KK quietly turning the club around hence the negative coverage from the press with the appointments of Wise et al. I refuse to believe that the powers that be are going to P**s off the person they wanted as manager and im sure Kev has been aware of whats been happening and has no reservations about it. Ignore them keep the faith and i'm certain we can do it.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=511435&in_page_id=1779 More from the Daily Mail hatchet man? just such an amusing wit but i suppose they cant hammer on about immigrants, benefit scroungers, new labour sleeze (while conveniently ignoring the tories) et al on their back pages so we will do

Not for long?
