  1. Dont know if this has been posted previously a link from True Faith interesting read. http://www.onfieldsofgreen.com/the-strongest-hand/
  2. Yet another hammering on the cards then........definately personal this from Ashley will gamble that we will stay up despite this clown.

    John Carver

Wonder if anyone turned up at the training ground at 09.30am I do hope so.
  4. http://www.totaljobs.com/JobSearch/JobDetails.aspx?JobId=59465041 We are currently working with a Premier League Football Club as they seek a Press Officer to join their vibrant and growing communications department. Sounds like us...............maybe not Wendy getting an assistant or just had enough?
  5. Surely no way the turnover will be that big? I can't remember ever experiencing a window like that, much less under Ashley. Understand that point but there's quite a few due to go without even thinking too hard about it: - Jonas - Shola - Remy - Gosling - HBA - Obertan - Marv There's 7 without allowing for good bids or players wanting away (Debuchy possibly?) It's going to be quite the summer for changes I reckon. Just a shame the coaching staff and manager will still be here come August. My fear is we replace the bulk of them with english grafters like Colback etc. Edit - We're also too light on squad numbers so the 8-9 incoming that Lovejoy mentioned, has to be a good bet given those leaving. Debuchy & MYM will both be away in addition to the above. IMO will get 3 or maybe 4 in if we are lucky a couple of loans while be told its time for the youth to step up. Just cant see this mob getting 8-9 incoming players. Maybe an additional couple in January when we are deep in a relegation battle.
  6. Seems to be some sort of split in the dressing room if certain players are happy where we are, how we play and against Ben Arfa playing etc whilst Colo Ben Arfa and whoever else on the other side of the coin having a pop at Pardew for how we set up, style of play and suchlike. Maybe this is what will force him out though more likely the players that Pardew has lost will be out the door before he is.
  7. Could and should have been an heavier defeat they looked liked scoring everytime they went forward
  8. Personally think part of the problem is the press perception of Newcastle fans especially the nationals who really dont know whats happening up here they see us sitting safe in 9th position following a relegation fight last season and reason we should be happy with our lot. Even last year when hammered by Sunderland then Liverpool at home Very little press pressure on Manager of the year Pardew. There has been very little criticism of Pardew or Ashley over the years, even our relegation season was mainly blamed on the unrest at the club rather than the way the club was being run or many fingers being pointed at the owner. Most of the blame at the time in my opinion was levelled at the fans for what happened post Keegan. Seems when Liverpool or Man Utd fans protest they are fighting for the traditions and history of their clubs but when we do we are labelled deluded or deranged.
  9. Surely this bit cant be true His time as Newcastle's director of football has seen Kinnear at the centre of a number of controversial stories, including a report by the Sunday People that he had tried to sign a midfielder who was ALREADY a Newcastle player. can it? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-transfer-news-joe-kinnear-2670971#.UvAj9Hd_u6I

    Douglas

Can't wait to see what treats Kinnear has in store instead. He's been on the phone to Ferguson about that Reno Funland bloke. Wonder if in Joes world he realises that SAF no longer at Man Utd be annoying getting phone calls off him 7 days a week when your trying to fix up the garden.
  11. You like him!? I can't find any likeable thing about him.. Aye, not sure what there is to like. He comes across as a horrible man. Yep a downright horrible foul mouthed little thug wannabe who will only drag the clubs name further into the sewer. A liar (3 LMA managers of the year anybody), fantacist, revisionist and 1st class old and past it gobsite who should have been put out to pasture a long time ago. Our tactics last season where horrible and i dread to think of him passing on any of his tactical nous when i remember his horrible Wimbledon team. An awful appointment which doesnt make no sense what so ever. At least Simon Bird (surprise surprise) http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/joe-kinnears-return-newcastle-mean-1957290 has had the gumption to question it. But we all know what he is or what JFK thinks he is. http://www.true-faith.co.uk/tbawe.html sums it up nicely saves me higher blood pressure by ranting on.
  12. Especially as hes staying around as a Director/Ambassador will caste a long shadow shades of when Busby left hopefully

    Alan Pardew

Pinning my hopes on Norwich getting beat by West Brom and Man City now.......conceding two less goals to Arsenal than Norwich do to Man City will sum this shitty season up.
  14. Was mentioned by DL that things would be reassessed in the summer my only hope is that the thought of Dave Whelan and Wigan putting one over on him spurs Ashley into making a decision after two of the worst home results in our history and Pardews gone early next week. Think we are way past the stage that sacking the manager with 3 games left in a relegation fight matters anymore. I dread to think what Arsenal would have done to us today and considering we have one away win all season doesnt auger well for WHU and QPR. Damned if we do and damned if we dont. Give Beardsley a go or anyone till we appoint someone permanant as we are doomed anyway unless Wigan implode and I dont think that they will. Edit - Still hope and pray that they lose their away games and draw vs Villa (Too much to hope that they drop at least two against Swansea)
  15. In my heart of hearts I agree. With Wigan playing West Brom and Swansea, games i can see them clawing back the six points between us and Villa at home to Mackems then Norwich away we have got to go for it. The question is i suppose will we? Very pessimistic at the moment.
  16. Need a win against Liverpool otherwise anxiously keeping an eye on Wigans results as I cant see us getting anything at West Ham and I see a draw more likely than a win at QPR. Hopefully Hanibal the Cannibal will be starting a lengthy ban come saturday which will make me feel more hopeful.
  17. Whose Wag did you shag at Southampton which got you dismissed and does none of our current squads Wags catch your eye?
  18. Why do we go deep and fall apart after half time trying to defend a one goal lead
  19. nfrederi

    Players in public

Wouldn't have thought footballers got the train anywhere these days even reserve/youth players. A dose of reality does them no harm i guess, would have been fun for him if it still stops at Sunderland.
  20. nfrederi

    Alan Pardew

Think before today this would have been nailed on but I have an awful feeling that we are going to be relying on others. QPR and Reading are doomed i think but its so tight from us down its going to be close. I just wonder if after the January signings with not much improvement results wise whether Ashley/Lambias will keep their faith in him.
  21. nfrederi

    Alan Pardew

With our away form or lack of away form, Liverpool and Arsenal our remaining home games can only hope that with a weeks break btwn games that he can get some fucking points from somewhere.
  22. Gouffran injured at half time?? Wasnt great 1st half but didnt play Thursday Shola didnt manage any impact against Benefica didnt today either very poor substitution.

  25. Dont think there would be a lot anyone could say or do to stop him if hes off the wagon.........would have thought his "agent" should have been more aware of his state of mind though.
