  1. From his debut against Villa it was clear he couldn't and/or wouldn't take players on. Bit of a fucking glaring weakness for a player mostly identified with a wide attacking role. Awful excuse for a footballer, especially since his pace went.
  2. A mate of Allardyce from Bromley Cross fixed my wifi last month. Told me his wife said it was either her or football over the Xmas period. Banned him from talking about it in the house, too. Looks like he chose his wife. Awww.
  3. Aye, that'll fit in seamlessly with the rest of Parish's appointments.
  4. I agree with most of that, to be fair. The above average comment is a bit daft, though. I don't think he touches Rio in terms of ability, obviously, but it's worth pointing out that while Terry was leading Chelsea to every trophy imaginable and captaining England, Woodgate was in the Star & Garter in Middlesbrough trying to convince pension-aged locals to piss on themselves so him and his bottom of the barrel mates could grab a quick laugh. Winds me up whenever people bring Woodgate into conversations like this. If anything it affords credit to Terry for achieving a billion times more than a twat like Woodgate with less talent.
  5. They did charge him, and found him guilty. The criminal case against him failed, though.
  6. Wolves' form has picked up recently and Leeds, though a decide side, are obviously fairly vulnerable. I'd fancy Leeds to win but it's not quite worth those odds imo.
  7. 6 goals scored in our last 7 games is what worries me the most. We just can't score goals unless teams come at us and leave gaps.
  8. It's there in black and white that you said the quality of 13, ie the vast majority of, teams in the PL is very poor. It's the same old nonsense. We got relegated (twice) with a better squad than we have now.
  9. Goes without saying. We've got players regularly starting for us who not one club in the PL would ever consider going near.
  10. Another trait of yours, just merely ignoring what was said and making it up as you go along. Outside of the top 7, the quality of the PL is very poor. Which is true. West Brom sitting in the heights of 8th is testament to that point. Hal Robson Kanu is playing regularly for the team sitting in 8th. You're the one saying two thirds of the Premier League is very poor in quality you weird mong. In comparison to which league, where? Get fucking lost with this tedious crap.
  11. The quality of the PL is 'very poor' and I'm the one talking shit. I'm not indulging in this crap again. There's obviously a bit of a shelf in the PL between the biggest clubs and the best of the rest but it's far and away one of the best two leagues in Europe, and the gulf between it and the Championship is huge. If you didn't know that in August (you should have) you do now.
  12. Very poor. Better than, or as good as, the rest, but very poor.
  13. Based on what? My assessment of how good they are as players. The normal reasons for giving an opinion. I've seen nothing from either that remotely suggests they're PL defenders. Yedlin's admittedly brilliant going forward at this level. What is a player, especially a right back playing in the championship supposed to do to show they are a PL player? You've said he's brilliant going forward at this level, I can't remember too many defensive errors and prior to this season he's played PL football. What's he supposed to be doing? I'm not really sure what your point is. I just wouldn't base an opinion concerning PL suitability on about 20 starts in the Championship. I know some would disagree but the disparity in quality is huge. Teams like Burnley sometimes tread water for half a season or so and pick up enough points to survive but it's unsustainable. For Ian to say they're both 'more than good enough to start' in the PL is at best a bit of a stretch and in all honestly a little bit daft given that Anita's barely played there in the PL and has persistently struggled physically at that level, and Yedlin obviously didn't impress too much at Sunderland.
  14. In the past 8 weeks alone he's had more comebacks than Audley Harrison. He's our best player but we shouldn't use him unless he's 100% confident in his hamstrings. It's a pisstake because had he not sustained that injury at Brentford we'd be promoted and on the verge of securing the title by now.
  15. I was gonna say, like. I live 15 miles or so from Wigan and was told our fans behaved OK. Admittedly I was fairly surprised to hear that.
