  1. That would fit perfectly. On the transfer merry-go-round, we get cash.
  2. Part of me agrees with QBG, like. Would be a shame for the majority - who like a pint before the game and at half time. But for too many c***s, watching a game of football is simply another piece of the weekend binge jigsaw, and serving booze at the ground facilitates this.
  3. Nah, he's not better than Young. Better to build a team around perhaps, but not better as a component in a machine like Man U.

Vile abuse. The man deserves to be hung from his bollocks and hit with sticks. Disgusting old b******.
  5. Skinny little bastards. I'd like to see them all beaten to within an inch of their lives.
  6. Great article. Touches on what I said (to Cajun?) last week about Bobby knowing which of his assets required the most leniency.
  7. You don't watch much football, do you, TRon?
  8. The same lot that were poised to give us our 'real welcome' to The Championship, no doubt. Obviously they've forgotten the fact they sold their star talent to Wigan Athletic for £3m.
  9. Lots of money was placed on him returning to Leeds on Monday. Let us pray.
  10. There's got to be motivational behind not rating someone with 6 goals in 10 starts. What more can you ask of a striker?
  11. Is Ashley actually in town?
  12. What you've just said - Leon Best as the most in-form striker in the league. You obviously see something in him that I don't. Journeyman centre-forward who's not going to progress beyond the level he's on now. Who was then? When he got that goal against Everton he had 6 in 9 or something like that. What I 'see' in him doesn't come into it. Well perhaps there was a period when statistically he was the most prolific striker, but that could have been said in the past of such luminaries as James Beattie and Mick Quinn. Anyway, it looks like he's up for sale for about £4m and so far, no takers. Oh does it, thanks for that. James Beattie proved himself to be a sub-standard PL striker over time. Best has shown nothing but promise so far in his short PL career. You just dislike for the sake of it. Same with Coloccini.

  14. Given that he was just about the most in-form striker in the league when he got injured, it would be madness to contemplate selling him.
  15. I think Ben Arfa, Ba and a fit Best will easily fill the void left by those two. It's the cover that let us down.
  16. I must admit, the Andy Cole of 93-94 is still the best striker i've ever seen at the club, even if the team was tailored to him.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He certainly looked hard as f*** when he hugged De Jong after the City game - after spending most of the 90 minutes being outmuscled by Joleon Lescott.

Clinical. Just like the goal at home to City under Kinnear.
