Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

I'd rather just put Ritchie left wing. Routledge is the best winger of the three and Ritchie has to be in there somewhere. Scores four times more goals than Jonas. -

Namely yours if you genuinely think Jonas gets in ahead of Routledge. Routledge ripped the league apart for us in that final 3 months. -
What a horrible bunch of tinpot mongs this lot have as an excuse for a following.

Carroll aside this post is crackers. Aye, leaving Routledge out to accommodate Jonas is classic Yorkie mincing, like. -
I'd keep Gayle on the bench unless it becomes an absolute necessity to bring him on. He's our most important player and we need him fit for the final 2 months.
-
If we bring in another CB - and we absolutely need to, obviously - we'll have to shift one off the books given that we'll then have 5 who call that position home. Are you, Ian W, suggesting that we sell Mbemba. Is that what you're saying, Ian?
-
That, plus the fact our longest serving player probably deserves a bit better than being called daft and entirely uncreative names by an internet man.

We need, as I see it, 7 players for the first Xl next season. That's a lot of work. Compounding it by trying to get rid of and replace perfectly good squad players with good attitudes who can fill more than one position - Anita, Dummett etc - is pretty mindless, like. Completely unrealistic too.
-
Gouffran, Anita and Sammy are all out of contract. You're advocating the sale of some perfectly good squad players there, too (Anita being one of them). Mindless tbh.
-
I'd imagine this daft attitude often sees promoted teams come straight back down. If you dont think there's a world of difference between being an effective player in this league and the PL, you're honestly denser than I thought. Didn't both Burnley and Bournemouth do fine in their first season back without revamping their squads? Ronaldo, don't make it personal, there's no need. You're right, I apologise. We need big changes, though. Throughout the team are players who'd be looked upon in quite a different light if the likes of Shelvey and Gayle hadn't excelled this season.

Pretty much exactly my thoughts. We're especially going to have spend some serious dinero on a CB, winger and keeper (in lieu of Krul).
-
That's an awful post, even by your standards. Typically cracking time, though.

It's not far off, to be fair. After 34 games in 09/10 we were 9 points clear of 3rd with 72 points. -
People's standards are so low with keepers at times, like. Those saves were absolute routine. He played well overall apart from that missed cross which almost cost us another goal from nothing.
-
Never agreed with you more.
-
Lazaar just isn't a defender. I'm not sure who scouted him but they got it hideously wrong if they brought him here to play LB.
-
We'd easily get him for £5m, man.
-
One assist, to be fair.
-
It's just so pointless bring critical of him, like. He's our best LB by a mile and he doesn't rest on that. People just need someone to hate. If you look in the match thread he was actually criticised for clearing the ball off the line.
-
I wouldn't say he's excellent at this level, like. I'd pretty much always start him, though. We look much better with a bit of pace in the side.
-
Never agreed with daft Heza more.
-
Diame's much better playing off Gayle. Gets much more space to run into.
-
Nothing new. Poor on the ball but you'd fancy him to keep any winger quiet when he hits his stride like tonight. Just does the ugly stuff really well.
