By playing 2 strikers and an attacking midfielder in midfield? There's definitely not 2 strikers in that team. Diame's not an attacking midfielder, either. He's in his proper position today. Perez is a striker though, he's been played deeper for us but thats his position Diame is an attack minded midfielder If we are judging Perez not been a striker because he hasnt played up top for a long, Diame has been playing attacking midfield for 2 seasons now Nonsense on both counts.

I'd like to say something positive about that Xl. Should work out reasonably well for when we hoof it. That's as good as I can do.

Lazaar was a very strange signing, like. He blatantly isn't a defender and in spite of our lack of options on the LW hasn't been given a chance there either. Must be abject in training.
-
loathe Mourinho but Keane should be ashamed of himself there He's talking about Mourinho isn't he? Don't like Keane either but think he's spot on and a good pundit in general Yes, I was talking about Mourinho. Agree about Keane. The fact he has this drive to oppose the consensus makes him one of the better pundits by default.

On paper it's arguably the easiest fixture we have left give our home form. A win is much needed.
-
They're both fine as Championship backup but I'm not massively comfortable with either of them starting, especially alongside Lascelles.
-
We've actually won our last 4 games on Sky.
-
They've been very good tonight, Bristol. We might need another favour from them on the final day.
-
Entertaining for all the wrong reasons, though. He's a petty, petty little man whose teams play the worst brand of football you could imagine.
-
Fwiw I'd love him back here because he's blatantly got loads of talent and that's first and foremost what I want to see in the wide positions. I doubt he'd gel well with Rafa, though, so it's pointless thinking about it.
-
Nothing remotely dodgy, in other words.
-
This is a blow, like. I have zero faith in our defence when under pressure as it is. Clark's our best by a distance.
-
Did Gazza ever outmuscle Sol Campbell and score like Pedro did against Spurs in '95?

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

We've been poor in about half our home fixtures this season, though. Hardly a one off. -
Aye, no middle ground between two traditionally top-tier clubs transformed into title winners by billions in investment and Huddersfield 'lets stick it reight up thissen' Town.
-
Given that we're obviously so reliant on his pace out wide might it have been prudent to buy a winger with serious pace in the transfer window? We didn't need him, though.
-
They're an awful tinpot club managed by an awful prick in an awful city populated by mostly awful people. Don't need a mini-Stoke in the PL to go with the original.
-
If he's here in a year, Rafa won't be. I'm pretty certain of that.
-
I find it very difficult to imagine you've seen him play much this season. That is king-sized tripe. Physically he unfortunately just isn't the same player he was at West Ham. Not even close.
-
He snuck into the playoffs in '10 with 70 points, and 72 in '13. Absolutely not pissing anything.
-
Had lots of pace in the 4 positions out wide, mind.
-
His legs have just gone. It's a shame because I like him and I still want to see him starting more games than not but he's just never physically there for 90 minutes.
