You can't compare Roeder to that mong, like. Took us from something like 16th to European qualification in 3 months playing some very good football. Carver took us from 9th/10th to a final day relegation scrap.
Yeah, same. It's really difficult to accept people lauding fucking Gouffran for 5-yard passes and tracking back when you've experienced a player of Robert's class and unpredictability. Waking up on a Saturday morning in those days, man...
Mitro is s***. Hate to be the bearer of such bad news at such an important point in the season. But thems the facts as we know it.
Match winner v Wolves, and changed the game on Monday v Villa. I don't think he's done too badly the last few weeks, playing in a side that doesn't suit his style of play. He's certainly not "shit".
Changed the game. His hamstring wasn't torn. That's about the extent of it.
It's slightly less funny when you consider he's a better finisher than one of the two alternatives and a much better all round footballer/athlete than the other. I'd don't think Perez is a striker but he's arguably the best we have for what Rafa requires of one.
Hyperbole.
I think we're all far less confident about beating Bristol on Saturday than we'd be if a fully fit Gayle was starting. That tells its own story.
 This forum is truly up it's own arse at times like.
The food and drink snobbery on here makes me laugh like.
Alreet, Mr Working Men's Club.
Strange place to go when there's a Coast to Coast like next door. Far better American food.
I seem to recall lots of close wins, late scoring 1-0s to be honest. Pancrate vs Watford for that 1-0 was the epitomy of that season for me. Lots of clogg and a moment of class, reminds of this season mostly.
It wasn't even 1-0, to be fair.
Not sure first season in the PL is going to be much more enjoyable TBH
It has to be, tbh.
Even winning games as we are it's so painful like, just awful to watch. Standard is diabolical.

To be fair, something wasn't right with Gayle from the start, so obviously his introduction improved things. He lacks any real threat, though, unfortunately.
