Just a word on the Ambrose thing. It isn't all because of his excellent recent form that I want him here, he's a player I wanted us to sign back in August. He could do well in the premiership imo.

£2m a year seems very low for a player of that calibre. He's going to be the best striker in the world one day.

Someone who could provide cover all across the back four like Ben Haim would be nice. I'd love us to sign Ambrose and Aldo Duscher as replacements for Nolan, Smith and Butt.

Lampard's a more intelligent player, the amount of chances he creates is unparalelled, certainly in this country. His passing in the final third is the best in the premiership for me.

Lampard has consistently outscored and outplayed Gerrard for years. He's not been on top form this season, mostly due to Ancelotti's system but he has 15 goals and 11 assists for Chelsea.
