4 goals from open play in the premiership, 4 goals all fucking season!
he had been running on empty since late 2003, and who can forget the fact that he went the whole of 2004 without scoring away from home in the premiership
he was well and truly finished and should never have been offered a 1 year extension
Would love to see Shearer's goals per minute ratio in the 2004-5 season compared to Kluivert's.
goals (from open play) per minute ratio especially
but, like Taylor's stats, swept right under the carpet
wow. they had a fantastic team back then. Too bad its not like that anymore
fantastic team that got themselves relegated, and now only Ferdinand can say he has gone on to better things
Yes, Dacourt playing for Roma and then winning the league with Inter was a real step down
Kewell might have won the Champions League with Liverpool but he still pines for Elland Road
Even Viduka achieved more at Boro than he did at Leeds- UEFA Cup runners up and League Cup winner compared to no medals at Leeds
wrong tbh
Great team.
yeah because Solano, Taylor and Baines are anything better than decent to good defenders
hmmmm im sure gary Neville said that Nobby could become a brilliant RB and he played Cronaldo better than anyone this season, Taylor is in the hunt for England and considered to be a very good CB already and Baines is one of tht best LB's in the league. i would class them as decent defenders. As for Fernandes he is a very good DM some of my mates who support Everton think hes brilliant and hes class at tackling.
well yeah, that was my point
why are people even arguing, his lack of mistakes was primarily because he didn't assert himself properly on the pitch
he's slow, weak, shit in the air, average at best in the tackle, and he's a fucking drunk
a real star player?
what are you kidding me? Gullit had to deal with himself, and Gullit achieved ten times what Shearer did
and Zola isn't a real star player? Vialli?
Gullit saw that with Shearer in our team we would never win anything, he was right, regardless of how many goals Shearer scored
