To be fair there was no choice but to move Ba from the centre.

We were shit at the back end of that season to an overwhelming extent. We only avoided relegation due to early season form which had us in 9th when Pardew left.

Dunk is a good defender. He absolutely should not be in the England team in the tournaments though.

The service he gets is shit and has been for most of the season. Chasing shadows, waiting for passes that never come. It’s awful.

No criticism tonight but it looks like the best we can achieve this season is 7th in the league with underwhelming cup exits - albeit with mitigating circumstances and very tough draws. It’s been a really disappointing campaign and he’s going to have be very ruthless in the summer with certain players like Burn, Almiron, Longstaff etc being sold or marginalised and a larger focus on being solid / patient / creative in possession versus turning it over. He has my full support but the summer is the biggest test of him yet.

I’d rather we move towards footballers in the middle. You’re always playing with a deficit with someone with that fundamental lack of ability.

I love Eddie but he’s far too one dimensional tactically for a job bigger than ours. We’re an excellent fit for him and vice versa.

Quite surprised at the percentage of pundits saying he will and probably should be sacked.

Not sure I’ve ever crucified anyone. But I don’t really see how anyone can say that nor be so bloody disrespectful about him given the job he did here.
