Excuse to take her to London. Someone on here told me years back how good an away trip Fulham was @Wullie? And how right they were. Happy with that, good draw overall looking at fixtures.

I’ll never understand why Coloccini gets away with the absolute shit he served up in his last 4 years, as good as he was in the Championship and for 1-2 seasons in the PL. The amount of absolute drubbings we had when he went missing and goals conceded due to his cowardice or tendency to be bullied. Not to mention the fake injuries. Plus, Schar is better at basically everything.
-
Isak deserved it more than Miggy simply because he was involved in all 3 goals and pushed Ballard away from Gordon.
-
I didn’t even listen to it, to be fair.
-
I understand the parallel to be fair.

Away to Maidstone.

One of your kids is a tranny. Jesus.

MotM? Have a word. Come on.

Very patient Italian performance so far.
-
He’s not ready for that and won’t be for a few years.
-
He’d play for Wolves now. Sat in front of the back 4 spraying it around.
-
He never had the mobility for that. Looking back, a beautiful left foot and a a very good talent overall but all of his weaknesses rendered him totally unsuited to English football, especially English football in 2002, and the money could and should’ve been spent a lot better.
-
Could’ve been better, yes. To say he was never world class is absurdity though unless the definition is applied in the narrowest possible sense.
-
He’s way beyond GB News, man. Not sure how anyone could have a soft spot for him, either. He’s a thug and a coward.
-
That and he’s actually not intelligent enough but do anything but appeal to the absolute lowest common denominator. When he actually gets put on the spot in debates he just stutters and starts losing his temper. Spoon feed him like that embarrassment Claire Balding did and he’s fine, but those days aren’t coming back now.
-
Except Burn, who should never start CB for us ever again.
-
Fucking hell, have a word.
-
It’s not rocket science. Don’t let them play through us with ease and get the ball to Isak (at his feet) between the RB and CB as much as possible. He’s approaching full fitness and form and should be far too much for them to contain.
-
I think attributing Wilson’s injuries to our style of play is too much mind. We give him 3 days off after playing and he’s still getting crocked and generally looking not fully fit. Even under Bruce’s ‘put your feet up, lads’ regime he missed a lot of football. It’s just him, he’s made of glass.
-
That wasn’t a serious suggestion was it?
-
You say that, but Wilson plays with even less intensity after an hour’s football and he gets immunity.

Great post timeEd and quite right. I’ve said it before but we’re too emotional as a fanbase and, particularly, those of us who grew up, like I did, in the Keegan years are predisposed to idealism. We don’t want to buy superstar-inspired success; we want a team of uniquely talented relatable characters that functions under a likeable, forward-thinking idiosyncratic manger who grows with us. A lot of us thought we were already there and evidently (though we have many of the raw ingredients) we are not, and we’re frustrated. 5 points from 10 games away from home is very difficult to defend. As abysmal as we’ve been on the road, results and performances, I’d find it a lot easier to brush it off as part of the journey etc if I had confidence that the ownership will give this time. It’s a great irony that for well over a decade we all longed for a regime that wouldn’t tolerate managerial failure / mediocrity and now a lot of us fear impatience or impulsiveness from the top.

How many teams in the PL in 2024 play a Tiote type? I can’t think of any.
-
Correct. But Matt Ritchie shouldn’t be here collecting £40,000 a week to put arms round shoulders either.

Our RCB was by a distance our best defender tonight, as he usually is.
