Disappointed I didn't get a name check there tbh. Part of me still thinks Kane will be a flash in the pan, mainly due to his slowness, although he has probably been the second best all round striker in the league this season. I wasn't even thinking of you. I've always found you to be pretty unbiased, cept when it comes to the Argies.

Triggs has just murdered you.

Of course it is We've had way worse line ups many times. We have. With most of the first team injured. Our best 11 (and 18 especially) now is an absolute fucking joke. Newcastle: Given, Carr, Boumsong, Taylor, Babayaro, Faye, Bowyer, Clark, N'Zogbia, Shearer (Bramble 74), Owen. Subs Not Used: Elliott, Harper, O'Brien, Brittain. 'dat midfield and defence. I have absolutely no doubts that side would beat the team we put out on Saturday, mind.

I do think foreign players in general, not just at NUFC, get a fairer crack of the whip on here, mind. Specifically at NUFC I think it mostly boils down to almost unlimited faith in Graham Carr. And the fact those who haven't succeeded due to being physically not up to English football - such as Anita - attract the football hipsters who ironically tend to go after the likes of Harry Kane and end up with egg on their face.

Of course he is.

I think we're in a better position than most PL fans to see Jack Colback isn't 'absolutely dreadful', mind.

We're so fucking done as a club, like. That's one of the worst first Xls I've ever seen at this level.

I refuse to believe that there's an 85-year-old Geordie internet WUM.
-
They were by far the better, more 'fired up' side for most of the game, like. Means the square root of fuck all if there's nobody to put the ball in the net.
-
In other words some of the supposedly very good players that escape the Eredivisie are actually good.
-
Good thing you haven't got a manger who repeatedly nearly got his side relegated before finally succeeding.

Exactly would I would've gone for.

League One standard, or is that flattering?

We're better off without Pardew, but only because it puts us in the position to appoint someone else. In terms of who'd you want in charge, Carver or Pardew, if your aim was to pick up points over the course of 38 games, it's a different answer.

I can only imagine how much effort went into training if that's his level with people watching.

You may think so but I thought he was crap - as usual. He may have scored the goal - and God be thanked for that - but his general play and control is amateurish. He also lacks pace and is now just a poacher who I would sell if we had a club run by a professional instead of a greedy tight-fisted Market trader who won't pay market rate for a decent CF. You obviously weren't following the club when we had Shearer up front or even David Kelly, let alone Supermac. With Mandoon here, like. Cisse played perfectly well yesterday. We all know he's not Shearer or Supermac but I couldn't care less if he keeps scoring a goal every 85 minutes or whatever his rate it. Neither should you.

Tall defenders?

He often has good games against strikers who don't score goals. Today was certainly one of them.

Vividly remember watching that game on Sky. Steve Howey all over the shop.

Williamson tells him what to do, man. As utterly shit as Mike Williamson is he's the only one who tries to take responsibility for organising the defence.
