  1. True, but if they lacking in physical fitness they should work hard on it to make sure they can operate at they're best. Football's not Olympic sprinting, but it's not darts either. Why've you got a bloke who neglects his body far worse than Wayne Rooney as your avatar then?
  2. A formula that had us failing to score in 6 games out of 8 with largely the same squad that Keegan had scoring 4 away at Spurs, like. Yeah, and it was "largely the same squad" that took KK around 8 games to get going. Come on, man. 6 games out of 8 with no goals.
  3. I'm leaning this way too. It feels similar to when I wanted Kinnear to replace Pardew not all that long ago. Definite short term loss for potential long term gain etc. Yep. Exactly.

    Shola Ameobi

Qataries buy a World Cup and Shola's going to one. Football's dead, man.
  5. Or not, because part of me hopes we start the season with a really poor squad and it leaves Pardew's position totally untenable
  6. Not a bad player but obviously the implications of bringing in such a player (limited and because he's free) are pretty fucking worrying.
  7. I suppose he was never terrible last season, but he was never really good either, very consistently average. He's a safe choice, but I'd rather give someone else a chance, even if I'm unsure of them, just as long as they have the potential to be good. That's fine, but the only player with that potential is MYM and he needs a leader with physical presence alongside him, not Fabricio fucking Coloccini.

  9. Off the top of my head Remy's against Cardiff or Hatem's against Fulham was far better than both.
  10. I agree but they stuck with the fucking bell end when it was obvious he was utter shit Not to mention the fact they've invested only £7m in the CB position in the last 6 years, like. Come to think of it, it's a net outlay of £0 at best considering Bassong's sale in 2009. Tells you everything you need to know. Two of the most important positions on the pitch and not a penny invested since August 2008.

  12. As if anyone, on here or not, is fucking stupid/spineless enough to actually pay money to watch this bollocks.
  13. Leaves with only 211 goals for them. Decent signing overall, like.
  14. Nah, City should just have won it by more than they did. They were by far the best side throughout the season.
  15. Williamson's a poor defender but he was our best CB by a distance last season. You don't drop him for Colo or MYM.
  16. Nobody is, per se. What would you judge them on?
  17. Is this post serious? I'd like to think you've got more about you than posting daft nonsense like this, man. I'm merely pointing out that shearer's intelligence is not a quantifiable factor in whether he'd be a good manager, which you alluded to in your post. That aside it's hardly a Mensa meeting as it is in football, I don't think he's markedly stupider than the vast majority Compared to Gary Megson, fair enough. Compared to someone I'd want managing us, forget it.
