Rodriguez has looked fucking awesome in the last 3 league games. What a prospect.
-
But still pretty easy
-
Forgive me Cronky but I thought you just implied that Williamson distributes the ball better than Taylor.
-
When I said 'fit' I meant both would be match fit, hypothetically.
-
I think we should put this to a vote. Let's say both will be fit for an important game coming up; Williamson or Taylor? For all those saying Williamson's better I've yet to hear anyone make a case as to why Williamson a better defender other than mentioning his leadership or awareness of his weaknesses.
-
He's a brilliant example of a defender who protects his total lack of athleticism and doesn't 'need' a quick partner to compensate for it.
-
Who's going to pay real money for Ben Arfa?
-
Who the hell came up with that? Williamson was barely up against him anyway.
-
Goal bonus.
-
He probably saw the Hull goals on MoTD.
-
I'm saying he's a decent defender who obviously has more of a future with the club than Colo or Williamson, that's it. Nobody (apart from Tooj, obviously) has been more critical of him than me over the last decade. I'd much prefer someone like Shawcross but we won't spend that amount of money.
-
A liability who's superior to Williamson in virtually every way when he's on the pitch. Gotta love Brett projecting his own sexual interest of club personnel onto other posters who merely acknowledge a player being decent.
-
Taylor's average game these days constitutes a pretty solid defensive performance, tbh. Decent on the ball, physically strong, good attacker of the ball in the air.
-
Well we've bought a lot of other class players, so let's hope we can find someone who fits our buying policy. Premier League players don't fit our buying policy.
-
Only if he's partnered correctly. No chance of that with the 3 present options.
-
Yeah, the same scouts who bought a CB who wouldn't complement, nor by complemented by our only nailed-on starting CB. We should just spend good money on a proven CB from the Premier League and stop pretending the alternative has any more credibility.
-
Who said we could? He's still got far more of a future at the club than Williamson and Coloccini, whichever way you look at it.
-
Nether does Taylor tbf, and you love him. I love a player because I think he's better than Mike Williamson? This is a new one. You always want Taylor in at CB regardless who is fit. Debuchy dropped for Mbiwa at right back at some point this season as well. Crazy talk. Not really. Debuchy was playing terribly and I don't particularly want to see Mapou on the bench when he could be gaining valuable playing time. It'd get the best out of Hatem at RF, that's for sure. I do think a fit Taylor is certainly both the best long term partner for our best prospect at CB and the best partner for Colo while he's still here. Wasn't Debuchy just getting the same though? Adapting to the league, like Mapou is? Taylor long term Mapou is younger and playing in an older more important position, to be fair. As for Taylor for being long term, there's obviously no mileage in Colo or Williamson other than in the short term so unless we spend money on a CB it's a pretty straighforward point to grasp.

Rather not play Colo to be fair. Let him return against Norwich. -
From what I was told he wanted them virtually verbatim. Anyway, who cares.
-
Actually, Shepherd dictated what he wanted in his notes. Quite hands on with it.

I don't mind you at all mate but you really are a bit of a tool. -
He's solid when the midfield is deep and solid. If we want to move up the league by coming out to win games he has absolutely no place in the team.
