It’s not traditionally a football city at all. The Revie years in the 60s / early 70s marked that turning point. The club has a big catchment area obvs and I’d wager the fans who fill that dilapidated wreck of a stadium (I was there for a conference in summer and bloody hell) travel as far as any from the surrounding towns and villages.
