He'll have his licence back in October if he does the daft 3-day course. No big deal. Learn and move on.
-
Celebration was quality too. Jumped the hoarding and started hugging a little girl in a mint green hoodie about 3 rows up.
-
Earned his place in the squad next season.
-
What a player. Movement in behind and an out ball up front when he came on.
-
He’s been anonymous since the WC unfortunately. Not sure What’s up with him but he’s lacking a yard and looks sapped.
-
Are you OK?
-
Top 3 is underselling it He’s been hands down the best keeper in the league this season.
-
Admittedly was only a couple of games.
-
Craig Moore vs Robbie Elliott when Roeder got us 7th and European football.
-
How we could do with a player like that. 17 goals this season. That’s a forward.
-
The Hollywood balls find a man in a good position more often than not and he should’ve had an assist yesterday. I’d far rather he played the game like that than just launch it to Wilson.
-
O’Brien was absolutely shit. Terrible on the ball, slow as fuck, too often and easily made a mug of.
-
I know, need to give it up. Just think he gets a far worse rap than deserved. Easy target.
-
I do think Pope is a better keeper than Given, must admit.
-
It still doesn’t sit right with me that people use Bramble as an example of shit defenders in front of Shay. He was a good CB 2 games out of 3 before the inevitable brain fart. He also scored 2 goals that got us into Europe. Andy O’Brien / Caldwell etc were just shit full stop.

Everyone else is strengthening. We need to because it’s very obvious what we’re lacking.
-
Our set pieces are poor. They just float in and are too easy to defend with not enough attackers of the ball in there.
-
Need to rethink the front 3. Not working for a while now due to lack of creativity and Wilson looking like a nonentity up there.
-
He’s up against someone stronger and quicker unfortunately.
-
No chance.

Has there ever been a more direct wide player than Laurent Robert?
-
Deserves one as much as anyone. I've run out of superlatives for him. He's basically a much better version of Coloccini.
-
I’m just not sure what makes people think he’d score good in any system at top level. He attacks the ball poorly and doesn’t seem to have any instinct for finding space.
