  1. Ronaldo

    Matz Sels

It's really shit defending and goalkeeping.
  2. The vast majority know how it is, to be fair. Great talent, generally a very good right winger for us, but it's long since been time to move on.
  3. That's it, basically. If you looked at him as a 21-year-old, especially after he scored that wonder goal for Ipswich, you'd think with experience and maturation he'd be brilliant, but his brain of mush ruined it.
  4. I'll praise any player I dislike if they've had a good game. I might have even said something vaguely positive about Riviere at some point.
  5. He got dropped for the final three key games for Rob Elliot. That tells you everything you need to know. Westwood was and is the best by far.
  6. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,93852.msg4321122.html#msg4321122 http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,92042.msg3619327.html#msg3619327 You fucking loser. And the other 100 posts where he should be nowhere near the side.
  7. When? 11-12. Nothing sensational of course, but effective. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he made only a dozen or so sporadic starts that season.
  8. Darlow was the best keeper in the championship last season His stats are very good played 34, conceded 32. 34 games and 13 clean sheets. Not many better according to the stats http://www.foxsports.com/soccer/stats?competition=23&season=20160&category=GOALKEEPING&pos=0&team=0&sort=6&sortOrder=1 This is a sarcastic post, right? Sarcastic stats ?................... are you for real ? More the fact they support the ridiculous suggestion that he was the best keeper in the league.
  9. Perch was a better player? Alan Smith was roughly the same level? I don't think much of Anita as a midfielder but the above is nonsense, like.

  12. Well that's just weird, to be fair. I'll remember his hilarious performances on the right wing against Fulham last August.
  13. We can't because we won't. Won't pay the going rate for players, that is.
  14. Neat and tidy sums him up perfectly. Not a bad footballer exactly but at this level thoroughly incapable of dominating games in the middle and making any impact going forward. The definition of poor scouting, basically.
  15. That's absolute nonsense, like. And I don't just mean the typically strange way you've worded it - like very average at PL level and decent at PL level are hugely contrasting assessments. He was basically either good, or a blatant rick or two spoiled his performance. There was very little mediocrity to be found in an individual Bramble performance. Bobby was right to speculate and sign him because he had everything physically and technically, just not nearly enough between the ears nor the concentration span. Pretty much all that needs to be said on Bramble really. Good enough to shut out top strikers on his day, dim enough to concede goals under barely any pressure on others. Precisely.

  17. If our targets to start in central midfield aren't worth us paying £12m for they probably shouldn't be targets. It's a nothing amount for a player in his prime with significant PL experience.
  18. Imagine if that's true, man. And let's be honest, it probably is. Struggling to find £12m as a Premier League club in 2017 after a decade of spending absolutely nowt
  19. Who the fuck said that?
  20. I didn't say he did, he just looked like he absolutely wouldn't in about a billion years get outpaced and outmuscled by an old Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
  21. As others have said you can't take nothing from that, like. Boumsong looked like a fucking super athlete, until he had opponents to deal with. That Onyewu bloke too.
