Genuinely not sure what there is to like about him. Attitude. Never hides from criticism and is refreshingly blunt and honest in interviews. Ability. We just need to bite the bullet and spend money on a proven entity. Darlow was bought from the Championship, Elliot League One, Sels from Belgium, Krul and Woodman from the youth setup. It's a hit and hope mentality and it really doesn't work at top level.

Giroud's a very good striker. I don't think he's Rafa's type, though.

Three games last season doesn't indicate that he sees Elliot as our best. I think he knows we need an improvement in that position.

I had this argument with a mate a few weeks back. I think they won 12 out of their last 13 PL games. They finished the season brilliantly. It was an inconsistent autumn that saw them fall short.
