They will pay him quite a large salary tbh - that alone will tempt him

Miley as a set piece threat has imo coincided with our general set piece improvement - he has a canny knack of being in the right place - then you add in the likes of Thiaw, Big Nick, Big Joe and one of the other 3 CBs and it’s quite threatening

The problem with Gordon is his starting position - he’s too deep when we have the ball - he’s always been at his best when he’s right up close to the CF or on the same line as the CF - playing so deep is why he isn’t performing - look at his best game vs Chelsea, he was further up the pitch and leading the press

I’ll add B Silva to that - just runs around and makes snidy tackles

Tino is a better LB than a RB (imo) -,must be something in our make up that doesn’t allow our full backs to cross a ball -,they rarely do it - has to be an instruction But to have the flexibility that both Tino and Miley offer is invaluable

If we ever get a quick CB to partner Thiaw and a DM - you can easily play him as an inverted RB - gives so many tactical options

Looks like the old Joe today - win ball - pass forward straight away - makes such a difference
