3 out of 10 for me - 5 major signings, each given a score of 0-1-2 Thiaw - 2 Ramsey - 0 Elsnga - 0 Woltermade - 1 Wissa - 0 (Ramsdale - 0) Absolute disaster of a window - all over the place - everyone within the club is to blame - there should have been detailed planning going on months prior to the window, agents spoken to - “What if” scenarios galore - No CEO, no DoF is just unacceptable - it was a window to really kick on Kraft, Lascelles, Willock were all surplus but kept on - no LB cover bought You couldn’t have got it worse - an absolute shambles - heads needs to roll

If you look at him last season he had a really good connection with Mbuemo and Schade - there’s nothing with our players

Probs due to a lack of games - there’s no rhythm or complete match sharpness there

I am sure some Villa fans said that was his position

Possibly due to the system but it scares me shitless that we have spent mega on 3 players that basically have provided zero output and I can’t see it changing any time soon - it’s massively concerning now - Wissa maybe but I see more of the same

He isn’t going to be effective in this system - if you look back at his Villa goals it’s what we used to see with Rob Lee (or like with Sandro in min 1) the system will never get the best out of him

In a strange way him and Big Nick seem to have the same movement in the PL - there’s basically nothing in terms on chemistry with others (I think Nick and Barnes work well but the rest don’t connect with the CFs)

There’s no flow to our game - it’s all very structured which I think is hurting a lot of players because they are finding out that teams are set up to counter this style - basically all our players including those on the bench are trained to pleat this way

I will say in defence of EH - there’s been no strategy on field from the clubs - 2,summer windows he’s been left to sort business out - that’s been a big issue as from having a real good ability to buy what we need - we’ve had to sell 1 sumner and the other he’s been left to buy himself

I would never change my view game to game - I honestly think 6 months is sufficient to then make a.call on what I see

This - I take it back to the signings - mass spend on little return bat Thiaw - we massively cocked it up in the summer and it has set us back

Tactics - Subs - away form - poor signings - players overplayed - poor defending - playing style - poor in game management Thats 6 months worth of evidence not just a kneejerk post after 1 game

Ffs we’ve been poor all season - we can criticise where we feel it’s justified and it is justified

It will all go back to the summer when we pissed away millions
