Wouldn't be the first time that manager in that position leaves early and the next manager takes on earlier than was suppose to. Definately happy that we are looking overseas. Well.. Ashley said he is behind Allardyce, so did Mort. Both seemed like they're going to stick with Allardyce for a while still.. Yet, they sack him now. Got me thinking.. Ashley wanted top manager, Allardyce was never his choice. What if Mort and Ashley asked around for high-profile managers if they're interested and surprisingly someone said yes. That's the only reason I can think of for this sudden sacking. Or, well, I hope it is the reason. Because if Shearer is the next manager, I will definately lose my hope on this team. Edit. Nothing special what I've heard, didn't make it in the Porto squad. However I would definately go for Tarik Sektioui, he's been class everytime I've seen Porto. Would add creativity and skill to our midfield. There are many Porto players I would sign, but Pitbull isn't one of them.

I thought Jose ruled out managing England.. He said that only national team that he will manage is Portugal, because it would be too weird if it was his side versus Portugal, because he would be on Portugal's side. And I think he also ruled out managing in England anyway, wanted to learn new language.. Probably heading to Italy.

AC Milan are playing poor and Ancelotti should've been sacked years ago, Mourinho has already declared his interest in that job, so it would be foolish if Milan wouldn't hire him.

Germany are the best in Women's football, so them winning Argentine 11-0 is not really a big surprise. Women's football is not unfortunately very respected in Argentine. Germany is really good, really really good. I've seen them play (through TV though) and for example todays hat-trick hero Birgit Prinz I have seen live and they are excellent in all areas of the game. Also definately one to watch is Marta from Brazil, she is fantastic. Quick, very technical and good vision. Women's football has developed lot recent years, it's pretty good these days. Still gutted that Finland didn't qualify for World Cup, Denmark beat us in the last game and got through. It's not very physical game, but they are very technical these days. And it makes it really nice to watch, especially when it comes to top games.

Absolutely fantastic news, I've always rated Beye, he's been very solid through out years in Senegal national team and Marseille.

We need desperately some creativity to our midfield (maybe Emre & Barton will fix it) and a right-back. Smith was absolutely useless today and we don't need Butt and Geremi at the pitch same time. Poor match have to say, but Cacapa and N'Zogbia were good. Owen was nowhere to be seen. Cacapa and Roz should definately be our first-choice centre backs at the moment with Enrique on left and some new guy on right. N'Zogbia should play left wing instead of Milner.

Baba isn't going anyway, I think he is still banned from national team and he's not good enough anyway - Taye Taiwo is Nigeria's left-back and he is absolute class.

I would definately want him, he might be prick, but he is class player. And works perfectly with Allardyce. Funny how many of Bolton's biggest stars want almost desperately out now. With Dyer and possibly Luque leaving, we could really have use for him.

Hopefully watching Seol Ki-Hyeon, his transfer to Fulham doesn't seem to be moving anywhere, he is cheap and personally I think he is class. If Dyer and Luque are both leaving, he could be great cover.
