That should've been an easy catch for Krul, instead Simpson not only breaks the defensive line but stops his own keeper from getting the ball.. And it wasn't a foul in the first place.. so frustrating

My biggest gripe currently. Playing every game, we're halfway through the season and they have a combined total of 3 or 4 shots on target and what is it - two assists? Ben Arfa has demonstrated more end product than both in his limited appearances.

Footballing fraud.. reminds me of Duff in that sense.. constantly simulating activity, especially his closing down - pathetic lack of effort. Little Shane has shown far more desire and composure in three games than this bottler ever will.

He has to demand more from our wingers. Enough has been said about Obertan, he simply lacks any sort of fight and bottle and I can't see him learning that, regardless of how long his below-par performances are tolerated.. And Jonas.. it's been months since his runs have created a dangerous opportunity. If we're so keen on his defensive abilities, just switch him to left back and be done with it.. Ben Arfa is so far ahead of those two, in terms of attacking threat/creativity at least, that even debating whether he'd be a better option is an insult to him and his career.

Needs between 5 and 15 seconds to get the ball into his right foot and to sort his body balance, so that eventually he can attempt a cross.. From an attacking perspective he's hopeless.

Nice try. At what? Are you telling me that he HAS earned it? From his few appearances, his end product has been better than Obertan's. And even if it wasn't I'd still play him. I'm being an easy target here, but imo Ben Arfa deserves special treatment from the manager - he has to play without 'earning it'. Because of the horrific injury, because of the type of player that he is, because of his character and because of his pedigree. No offence to you Cannuck, but I think I've seen Ben Arfa play tens of times more than you and you just don't have an idea what you're talking about.. like that guy that didn't know he is left footed..

ah well.. Swansea defended well in general but we should've put more pressure in the second half. Still, good performances throughout the team - especially Cabaye, Tiote and Ba. And for the sake of the team and the player, Pardew must help Ben Arfa to get back to his best. I don't know what goes on in training and how fit Hatem is but Sammy Ameobi will never be the player that Ben Arfa is.
