I hvae faith in Hughton mhm
-
He would be a good backup for LB and LW.. em.. if he has ever played there
-
Do you rate Silva? I'm not watching Spanish games that often but I'd have him in the squad instead of Xavi..
-
ole ole ole olee Joseeee
-
fucking idiot tbh.. I've experienced the "where the fucking hell are you from" several times in Newcastle. I usually counter it with "fucking China, who the fuck are you".. always seems to confuse the opponent
-
more cards for Inter please
-
Deep down I feel some sort of positivity about things but I'm worried that as of now Nolan and Smith are first choice.. and Butt might still get a new contract.. his experience is VITAL after all. I think we all know where such a midfield will take us in the premiership..
-
I like Lovenkrands a lot but even in his better days, he doesn't do much more than a static Carroll. And I know which one of the two is easier to play against. As for Ameobi, the guy is a horrible injury prone confidence player.. Like, I've said before, he might score the odd goal but he'll never form a remotely decent partnership with anybody, because he's usually too busy to play within and against himself. 10 years of complacency is enough - goodbye. Even if he comes back and scores 20 goals till the end of the season, I'd still sell him at the first offer.. same goes for Nolan
-
The truth is we can't afford/attract better than Carroll at the moment and like it or not, he's our best striker.
-
hopefully complacency doesn't kick in again.. Another good performance against Preston on Sat and we're back on our way TO THE TITLE mhmm
-
In theory it also puts less pressure on the CMs which in our case is vital
-
Everton's presumably? no, newcastles OMG OMG
-
Should have bloody decked him. Shocking referee! man, this guy was a bastard. It was evident he hates the club and Shearer
-
f*** that s***
-
fuck that shit.. I realise Hughton won't come out and slate him in public but those sort of decisions are pissing all over the good work that he's done so far.
-
good old Shola, always injured
-
why not.. adds mobility in the center
-
Personally, I feel the holding midfielder role void is more important right now. Certainly wouldn't hurt to try him out for a couple of games..
-
yep.. he compensates his technical shortcomings with aggressive play, I like that. And by aggressive, I don't mean stupid flying tackles.. he's a rather powerful dribbler. On paper Colo and Williamson should be a decent CB pairing.
-
fyp Cheers. Actually, I'd even go as far as saying Jonas, Enrique, Colo', S.Taylor and Simpson are the key. Without 3 of those we've been shockingly organised... Simpson? I know we're worse without him but I'm a bit worried how often he gets skinned by some very average wingers
-
I agree.. His positional sense won't be perfect but surely he can't be worse than Butt and Smith.

mm that was quite a hit
