An American club in the European Cup? Not see the problem with that?
-
Alot? This error happens a lot. Oooo, Dave's been out pedanted. And he's called people our twice in the last couple of days for the exact same mistake.
-
Gotta be gutting that they had like 35 games unbeaten, which matched the record. One more game would have got them the record.
-
Really impressed with the USA, despite lacking energy and the technical skill of Spain they more than made up for it with the fight they showed. Altidore learning from Shearer could be worth a look if we ever get sold.
-
Starting to get my hopes up again, which inevitably means there will be some sort of setback on the horizon.
-
Do Hull not see the problem in buying a load of players (Owen, Nolan) etc. that helped a club get relegated last season?
-
if he was at full stretch, he would have saved it. Your breaking the key rule of WUMing, making it too obvious.
-
Meh, not brilliant, colours are a bit shit like.
-
£17.5m for Johnson, what an absolute joke. Good player but not worth a fraction of that. Benitez is off his rocker, especially since Liverpool are supposed to be in financial trouble.
-
Exactly what I was thinking.. I called it a while back, just being proven more true the more he posts.
-
The point is, they are still good enough to win everything they enter.
-
Ribery, move Rooney up front. Still a hell of a team.
-
yeah you do. everyone uses the past as a guide to the present and future. however my major point has always been that, as yet there is little evidence either way and most back keegan purely because of who he is. had keegan been the DoF and wise the manager people would still have backed keegan. with what we know being very little we only have personalities to go on. I just don't think that when referring to Keegan's role the 2nd time around, his first go at it should have any significance at all. At the end of the day what he did back in the 90's doesn't really change the actions he took this time around, for better or for worse.
-
If we're going to debate (again...) whether Keegan was to blame or not, we can't keep bringing up his first reign. That seriously just strikes of being stuck in the past.
-
I can't believe people are biting at the 2nd coming of InvictaToon...
-
13 days until we're rid of the cancer that has been Michael Owen.
-
Feel sorry for the lad, but hopefully next season he'll get more of a chance.
-
So what about Mascherano then, is he not in the same situation as Tevez?
-
^ Is the only way our club could become any more of a joke.
-
I think it's an interesting question, considering how good Owen was at Liverpool, had he stayed injury free would he still be a world class striker? Not at the level of Ronaldo, he's a whole other level entirely, but still, would he have remained that pacy goal-getter he was at Liverpool?
-
Rather he didn't stay, on way too much money for the Championship.
-
Well trying to look for positives in having the Fat Controller back, all I can think of is, at least this hasn't dragged on all summer. Hopefully within a few weeks we'll be sold, new manager in charge and start planning for next season.
-
Fucking hell, just when you think we can't become any more of a joke, they manage to pull it out of the bag. I would laugh if it wasn't so depressing.

Haha wow, so it's like Boxing titles but for Football. That's quite a good idea really, although not as anything too serious.
