I think he's just finally fit. I hate the term "Match fit" but it's certainly the first chance he's had to hit his stride at the club.

Saturday was probably Spurs' best league result of the season, they're not really that much better than us. As for knocking 4 past chelsea, anything can happen in a cup game, look at the semi-finalists in the FA cup.

Was just thinking how much I agree with Keegan's policy on the defence. I hated the way Allardyce would chop and change things if a player made an error. All players make mistakes, but the manager needs to show faith in a player if the player is to have any faith in himself. We've still conceded 5 in 4 since the last change, and I reckon there's still a lot of work to be done on getting them to gel, but after the first 3 games I don't think Allardyce stuck with the same defence for more than 2 games all the time he was here.

Funny how that's suddenly become the case for many. Since Souness brought him back, what boiled my piss was that every subsequent manager kept hold of him. I can't imagine he was a first choice coach all 3 of them happened to coincidentally want at the club. For Keegan I know he is, like Arthur Cox, they're people he's personally brought to the club to help him do things his way.
