Botman, Tino and Hall were all fit and playing games. Burn was the only one missing. I don’t really know why you’re including Lacelles as he’s not been part of the squad for 2 years and you can say the same about Krath. Burn was the only one out injured and is 3 weeks away. If The injuries to Schar and Tino don’t happen, we’re looking in good shape.

Weve only been in an injury crisis for 3 days. A week ago we had close to a full squad for the first time in forever.

I think after today the penny has dropped for me a little. We’ve not been great this year on the eye, but fucking hell, 4 competitions, he tries to win them all with a small/medium sized squad. We’re 3 points off 4th, semi final LC, likely knockouts of the CL, 4th round FA cup. Lost his best striker who was a fucking killer, had multiple injuries to his back 4 and two pretty inconsistent keepers. The bloke is a fucking genius, we should treasure him while he’s here.

Same as others, thought he was bit sloppy first half hour then grew into the game. Also seems to get a energy boost when Barnes scored the 3rd and went on a couple of mental runs 🤣 Love him, form temp, class perma etc etc

I genuinely wouldn’t have cried if we’d gone out today, our squad simply isn’t cut out for 4 competitions. But tell you what, buzzing we went through. I really want to do well in the FA cup. Have to give the players a lot of credit, they’re fucking giving everything even if the quality isn’t there. They’re playing crazy amounts of football at the moment, I’ll take the wins even if they’re scrappy.

I don’t think he was disinterested, he seems incredibly passionate and clearly wants to do well. But some of his finishing in the last couple of games is making me nervous. I thought he was a killer … but he’s snatching at things. Maybe to eager to score I don’t know, hopefully it’ll come…

So wrong, it was arguably his best game for us. Some great driving runs, one touch passes, dropped the shoulder and beat his man a few times, thought he had a very good game. I think some won’t be happy until they see goals.

The centre half situation is really grim, we could really do with making moves in the market asap with so many games coming up

I think its just the way he's worded it. Its half morbid half optimistic, something lost in translation maybe. I reckon it'll be a 3-4 month job. He still has another year in him for sure.

Go back and watch some of his press conferences, he consistently talks up Wilson and says what a fantastic appointment he's been. He's clearly a big fan of his and has a good working relationship.

Howe has said there's things in place if they need to move. I suspect once they've confirmed Fabbys injury things will happen. Burn another 3-4 weeks away by the sounds of it, we can go through January with Thiaw and Botman.

He wont, he's off to Liverpool or City - whoever offers the most.

I think its fairly obvious we'll be in the market for a new keeper in the Summer, fairly pointless winging about Pope/Ramsdale until then. We're just going to have to suck it up and hope he can reach his highest levels possible.
