  1. Jesus Christ, they were always going to have 10 minutes at the start of the 2nd half. Just relax.
  2. They are class at the moment you have to give them that, I hate them and Rodgers but you have to give it to them, they play some lovely stuff They are playing a team who have been thrown into turmoil this week who are also one of the worst in the league. Have a look at that Cardiff side its laughable Jesus.
  3. He could try saying nothing. 'Are you worried about a January bid for Cabaye Alan?'....... Alan? ............. Alan, the Cabaye bid, you worried? Alllllan!?'
  4. Hmm... Why do you have to make strong tackles to be a good defender? Some of the best in history rarely dived in at all so that's a harsh criticism for me. I don't see this awful positional sense either (on a consistent basis anyway) apart from when the defence are playing a needlessly high line - that's a deficiency with the system rather than the individual for me and IMO it also plagued Debuchy earlier in the season; it hasn't been apparent on either side of the pitch in recent weeks as the defensive line has generally been deeper and the formation has been more compact. I can't disagree with the criticism of him walking/jogging back like, but I do think he's improved in that sense in recent months compared to last season, so there's some progression there. I'm not talking about diving in, I'd just like to see a little more from him, let his winger know he's there. Just can't agree with his positioning mind. He does get caught out. Teams get behind him to easily to often. I like him. Good on the ball, his left foot is getting better. Good pace. Still plenty room to improve though.
  5. I really like Santon, but his positional sense at times is awful Andy and he's often caught out with the balls behind him. edit: and how often do we see him putting some good strong tackles in too? I mentioned earlier in the thread I'd love to see a bit more aggression from him.

  7. Aye, he can improve but to say he always makes the wrong decisions is harsh and incorrect.
  8. Did you hear from page 14/15? Some people really get on my nerves with smart arsed remarks, I really should learn to read every single page of every topic before I post anything on here or else the nerd trolls will have some comment to make, prick.
  9. Agree with that, I was thinking that Pardew had finally been making a bit of progress with that this season but it's hard to say really. it's not hard to say at all. Of course we've made progress. What would you define as our main style of play? We are a strong physical side. We notably try and keep the ball more in general than any other time pardew has been here. We are lacking ideas around the box and for me that's why you need to get hba in the team. There's been clear improvement.

  11. Dat fickleness. It's the arrogance reserve side? Osvaldo, Rodriguez and Lovren cost about £30m between them, not to mention the youth Southampton manage to regularly produce! Southampton are like a better version of Norwich, a smattering of expensive good players surrounded by club level workhorses. We've spent far less on players like Gouffran, Sissoko and Cabaye, but our pedigree throughout the squad is much better. Southampton have spent a fair bit and have the likes of Shaw, Ward-Prowse, Clyne (I know he was bought but was cheap) coming through. They are far from a bad side, as they have shown this season. A draw which we were more than deserving of and probably should have won is definitely not a bad result and Pardew can't be blamed for the chances we missed. But he can be blamed for how he set his side up for the 2nd half, which cost us 2 points. Give over man. We had a bad twenty minutes and after that it could have went either way. It was a good end to end game at the end and if remy scores we probably win it.
  12. Shola hasn't been playing too bad and it was probably the right thing to do against them, to be a bit a bit more direct and physical. Sounds as though someone has a chip on their shoulder.
  13. No complaints From me. Poor 20 minutes after the break but I think the players need to take some responsibility too. Remy was the difference between a win and a draw.
  14. He is like. This will carry on throughout his career. If we had of spent £15 million on him we'd be f***ing fuming. Cheers for clearing that up like. You're welcome.

  16. nufc.com's "articles" (using the term very loosly) are awful, waste of internet bandwidth tbh. I was just on about getting updates about the club more than anything. Each to their own like, at least they don't read like they've been written by a five year old.
  17. FFS just let the thread drop (I know irony in me bumping it by replying) we won 1-0, once. They've beaten us plenty times at there place by much bigger scores. This kinda post sounds like something we would deride the dirty mackems for (before they regularity started beating us) 2-1 FTM. Enjoy the victory by all means but lets move on, it's just one of a lot of good results for us this season. Makes us sound a little small time tbh. While I tend to agree, if people want to enjoy it just let them. Not doing any harm
  18. From my view, apart from a few snidey remarks, the Journal and Chron has been exactly the same. By that, I mean shite. Much prefer reading the articles from .com or the Mag, something like that.

    Mr Motivator

I saw plenty of effort against Norwich, west brom? A lack of quality or urgency at times, but don't remember questioning effort too often.
