Ive heard nout but wouldnt suprise me in the slightest if we sign him. In fact id go as far to say, we will sign him.

Delighted he's starting. Just watched that video on the main page. Anyone on the site who slates Luque for not having talent, then your all idiots. I can understand him getting shit for his work rate, but dont doubt the mans talents. The difference for me is, watching that video compliation he looks really happy, but the way he has been treated over here by management, press and fans then no wonder he doesnt want to play for the so called "Mighty Toon". The song was so appropriate in that video too.

isnt Ottmar Hitzfeld oot of work?
-
Isnt Omar hitzfeld still oot of work??

Martins Owen could to be ammense. With the right manager in charge that could really work. Would have to stop play gay long balls all the time like, and get the ball on the ground. Could be an amazing partnership!

i had no idea how to spel his surname!!! lol !

Your an idiot. Duff was probabally the best player in the first half yesterday, doing the opposite of what you said, and yes, beating his man. SWP is an right midfielder by the way. Duff is left. Yes, 2 doesnt fit into 1, but id rather have that problem than wondering who is going to play there. Martins is a 21 year old who has just moved countries. Most of us are stressed enough when moving house, never mind locating to a new Country. He has the added pressure of coming to a club who think they have a devine right to be challenging the big 4 - me included. He inherits the legendary 9 shirt - speaks for itself. He has come from the Italian league, a totally different style to England. He picked up an injury straight away, and has now picke dup another. He needs confidence, he gets 2 goals then the manager decides to drop him for Shola. Remeber he's still only 21. Dont blame Duff and Oba, blame the management.................. or Bramble (sorry had to).

Isnt Omar Hitizname still unemployed?

If Roeder isnt playing Luque because of his attitude, then he's doing the wrong thing by the club. If Roeder believes Luque has what it takes to change a game but just doesnt like him, then Roeder isnt putting the club first. I dont care what any of you lot say, Luque has talent. He didnt play for one of the biggest clubs in Spain, scored goals in possibly the best league in the World, played International football for one of the best teams in the World and was a legend at his former club if he had no talent. I hate the fact we keep sacking managers but Roder looks like he's not cut out. He cant keep making 85th minute subsitues and expect them to do something. He's pautting us in real danger.

He could tell Harper to release the friggin ball quicker and when i mean release i dont mean "lets see if i can kick it further than Shay"!!!!!

I hope they put on a good show for you young fella! I fully expect a win. Luque to score winner!!!!

Totally disagree with original post. So yeah, the atmos isnt always great. But you wont find to many great atmosphere's around the Country if they are watching shite. When the lads put the effort in on the pitch, they always get a response from the crowd. Which brings me onto my next point. The football at SJP has been shite since Robson left and only now are you seeing a very small dip in attendances. No doubt after Wednesdays win, it will prob be capacity again today. The thing is, we are hugley disallousion up here. We lose a few games in a row and its time for the manager to go. We win a few and we think we can make a realistic chance of hitting a champions league spot. Its always the same, its the way we are. We love the Toon and are incredibly loyal. Look at the away support. Games where we have been 2, 3 - 0 down and you still here them out singing the home support. Maybe its where i sit, but i never here that at SJP. So yes, we are the loyalist supporters the World has ever seen.

I was fearing the worst when Glenn was IDIOTICALLY given the job. Check back - I said it then, and had to battle against many who now are saying the same. I'd give the job to Gerard Houllier. i had a fiver on him at 30-1! Stupis Shepherd Face!

lol, are you talikng about Andy Gorman?
-
11 goals in 92, legend!!!
-
where the hell does he play? is he a striker or midfield?
-
id take him now if there was a chance. 3 months ago i would have moaned, not now. Id rather go into the season with him than without anyone.

havent read this thread but thought id share my opinion. I really wanted Luque to succeed. i really did but last nights performance told me he never will. If you cant put in a decent performance against a team like that, then you are destined to fail. I dont know whether he cant adapt, isnt interested, unfit or what, but he needs to go. Doesnt look like he will before the window closes, but im sure come January he will be away.

7,8 or 9th. Will be an average season with maybe one good cup run. The new striker will be the top scorer simply coz Shola doesnt have more than ...13 goals in him id say. Owen out for season. I can see Dyer maybe getting 15 - 20 games - just coz Roeder seems confident. Charlie star youngster again, Shay or Duff start Man. Parker will be a quality captain, despite what some of the muppets on here say. Bramble will have some amazing games, but overall be crap. I fancy Luque to have a half decent season, much better than last - not saying much. Thats my opinion.
