  1. Of course he is. The really damning evidence was the stuff from Ibrahim Farrah. Is that the Egyptian guy? Welsh... Aye I know

  3. Only 2 of them appear capable of playing centre mid. Dr Jong isn't and Sissoko can't even pass a ball and is weak as piss compared to Tiote. Need more than 2 centre midfielders.
  4. He played well on Sun, kept ball well and got stuck in but we need better in there. He is just average. Tbf he played better than I thought he was capable of, seems tidy in posession and probably useful as a squad member but not a starter long term

That QPR's crowd were louder than ours. Pandering to the home support as all footballers do. Our atmosphere has been shit since Robson left, no passion left . It used to be electric. I miss Keegan days, atmosphere was ridiculous home and away
  6. West Brom had it all after Mackems goal. Sunderland look as terrible as last season
  7. 48 points really is around 12-10th isn't it so much ambition, we will win the bottom half.

    Remy Cabella

Did you read what he actually said? Honestly, you and Pardew are like two peas in a pod in your takes on Cabella, but somehow you're having a go at him. Bizarre. While the 24-year-old is slightly-built, Pardew does not feel that will be a problem. And he believes the France international, pictured, will quickly gain strength and adjust to the pace of the Premier League – and pick up where he left off in France. “He’s not far away from fitness,” said Pardew. “He’s got to be a bit stronger – he’s a slight guy – but it makes him difficult to contain. He can skip past you. He’s got a nice inventive brain and comes up with ideas on the football pitch.” http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/pardew-more-power-to-cabella-1-6780025 I didn't actually, just read on here. I think I just hate him so much that expect he meant that. Tend not to read his quotes much these days

    Remy Cabella

It would fucking ruin him if he bulked up. Maybe add an amount of strength but really doesn't need to smash the gym. He is a flair player relying on agility but Pardew wants a defensive fucking winger.
  10. Seems to me Pards doesn't know where to slot him in so no doubt he will end up all over and drift out of the club in a few years.
  11. Well of course, with Aarons, De Jong and Cabella the other team will have to drop deep and keep bodies back, throw Sissoko in and could be quite dangerous as long as he learns how to play centre mid role and improves passing, maybe have a DM alongside him, throw in Remy up front
  12. No chance he won't play Gouffran if De Jong out, he will want his workrate out wide. Would love him to be bold though, Aarons looks ready to me.
  13. Oh and Obertan looks strangely less shit, was actually having a go
  14. I didn't think we looked too bad in possession, just lacking a cutting edge at moment. Really like the look of Cabella, Janmaat and Aarons. We looked to attack with pace at times and worked hard, need to try shooting a bit more like and create a few more chances.
  15. No he wont Maybe not, but I think you get what I was getting at? That you even if you saw us in a great position squad wise you still feel the need to invent rubbish to have a whinge? Genuinely have no clue what your point was other than that Invent rubbish? I am not sure having no confidence in our manager is inventing rubbish? Obviously my message wasn't as clear as it was in my head. We have a decent squad, a few players away from having a more than adequate squad, yet I have no confidence in our manager to use that squad effectively and is fairly likely to play players out of position based on him getting his favourites in the starting line up! Like i said rubbish. Obertan is his favourite now? Is this based on your general fantasies or the actual fact Obertan has 1 league start since January 2013? Exactly, for all Pardew is an idiot he has dropped players like Obertan previously when they don't perform, I can't see him starting but Pardew is not exactly wrong in trying to reintegrate him if no offers coming along.
  16. I'd only be shocked because it would mean we'd be in the red, transfer wise, for the first time in a very long time. Do the Forest lads not count now? Do they? Hard to say when all transfer numbers reported are estimates, but depending on how generous/stingy one wants to be with them I thought there was still some money left over after Debuchy/Cabaye sales so I accounted for them there. edit: really I don't care for my own, or anyone's, back-of-the-napkin math on where we're at budget wise and I don't want to argue about it. Even if we did end up in the red after their purchase they're not here this season and it's peanuts. I was talking about being shocked at spending a large sum on a player when the "budget" (Cabaye/Debuchy sales) was clearly at or near empty. Based on what everyone was saying we were about £2m up on that business before the two this week. The whole budget thing is tedious and pointless at the best of times mind so not worth arguing over I don't think the money matters, I don't care if they make a profit as long as we have a squad capable of competing and I don't think we are far off, pity the manager is a total mong though Basically my feelings too A better CB would go a long way Agreed and probably a Striker or Creative midfielder, but we look in reasonable shape, no team outside that top 4 have the ideal options they just have a manager that can compensate in most cases.

    Starting XI

Centre midfield can barely pass a ball, I don't think we can afford having both of them in there and Tiote is better at that defensive role, need Anita's passing

    Starting XI

That's the nailed on lineup for me, barring injuries. I still retain some hope that Colback gets injured before start of season to allow Anita to slot in.
  20. Not overly bothered about this game like, Sunday is the test as surely that will be the team we go with and hopefully contains De Jong.
  21. It's a clever deal for them if that does indeed happen and they can spend that 5-7 million on a few players they wouldn't have had plus retain our 2 for the season and try to push to playoffs / automatic promotion. Pearce probably more bothered they did not get more, but considering we pay up front it is worth more to them at this stage rather than 8-10 million over the next x years or however clubs pay. Surely if the money was going to be invested then Pearce would have a say in them being sold in the first place? Pretty obvious the fee will all but disappear towards the owner. SP will be lucky to get £2m imo Well quite possibly, or the Owner is just like our own and just saving for a rainy day and spunking profits on 9 players all at once
