Despite how shite things are now, we've been blessed with some talent over the last 20 years. I'd go with: Given Beye, Colo, Woodgate, Enrique Solano, Dyer, Speed, Robert Shearer, Bellamy Subs: Krul Albert Batty Ginola Lee Beardsley Ferdinand Only reason I've gone with Bellamy over Beardsley is because I only really become what I would call a proper football fan in 1995, so didn't see the best of Beardsley. Also why Cole isn't even on the bench. Also, I think that had Parker left straight after his first season he would be held in much higher regard around here. Like Hamann, he was immense over one season.

Hughes should be nowhere near our all time 11. Dependable, and on the decent side of average, but nothing special. He was useful because he could fill in anywhere across the back four.

Robert's contribution in terms of goals and assists gets him in my team, but god was he frustrating, especially towards the end of his time here. Easily one of the laziest players we've had, and for every screamer free kick he scored he shanked a good 10 others, if not more. Unplayable on his day, but lost interest and had a bit of a shit attitude.

I didn't think Barnes was particularly good for us. Pearce was decent enough - that free kick he scored against Dynamo Kiev

Don't rate him at all. I could see potential when he signed, but he's had long enough and he's still as predictable going forward and as suspect at the back. Why the hell he's taking our set pieces is beyond me, he cannot strike the ball without either screwing it or blasting it miles up in the air.
