Honestly, that Liverpool starting midfield is shocking for the price they paid.

So he wasn't saying we couldn't afford a replacement for Enrique, but that we couldn't afford to have 2 first choice left backs on our books. I'd take him if it didn't stop us going for other priority positions. Centre Mid options of Tiote, Cabaye, Benayoun and Gosling with the latter two able to fill in on the wings is a good bit of depth and with inevitable injuries, they would all probably play a lot.

I voted Vuckic, but missed Fergie from the list. Fergie looks the most promising based on what I've seen, but I'm hopeful on Vuckic due to the hype around him. I have hope for Kadar as well if he can stay fit.

If Ireland could actually find his form again I think he would revel in the role as the attacking centre midfielder in the 3 man midfield.
