Insua has looked pretty good whenever I've seen him as well. Not that I've seen him a great deal mind.

Would be nice to see Wolves and Blackburn go down, but I doubt that will happen since they are playing each other and would need a draw between them and all the others to win (I think) for it to happen. Think it will probably be Wigan and Blackpool.

I personally think that there's no way that if Barton is still here next season he'll not be considered a first 11 player.

Injuries and suspensions would see all of them get more than their fair share of football and keep them all happy. I also imagine you'd be more likely to play those players at home and go for the throat, and sacrifice whoever's off form in away matches for Nolan. It's a good sign though that adding just one creative midfielder and a striker to our first team makes our chances of doing well next year potentially likely. We do need quality depth though.

Must admit I like the look of potential line-ups just by adding N'Zogbia to what we already have. Bodes well for next year if we can keep hold of what we've got and bring in a few.

Wasn't Speed converted to the centre whilst at Everton. I thought he was more a left winger at Leeds and then mostly central at Everton.

Why does he fall over every single time he shoots? Even the chance where he did well to chip the ball over Foster he still fell over.

I was sure he was going to walk today, his timing and judgement was miles from his usual standards.

I think it would be utterly stupid to sell Nolan, he's clearly a massive asset to have in the dressing room, and judging by his interviews he's well aware of his limitations and accepts that he will drop down the pecking order as the club progresses.

You could have brought pretty much anyone on today for us and they'd have struggled to make any impact. He looked to get the ball forward with some urgency when he had it but just didn't see a lot of it. I'll reserve full judgement for another game though.

What a shite game. No-one really played well today, but I'm surprised to see people saying Nolan was one of our worst players today, he was one of the few that could find a pass and take a decent touch. He'll never be all action but he does stuff that goes un-noticed.

Qpr didn't deserve that, cardiff playing some really nice football. Bellamy looks good.

Why? We could find better players to be back-up. He's a very limited player. I agree with this, if we really want to push on next season we need to start putting together a squad of good players. We need to be able to bring in and rotate better players than Guthrie. Play alright tonight mind.

So much comes through this guy it's ridiculous. The players seem totally confident in his ability to receive the ball straight back and play it simple. I thought he was class again today other than the silly booking.

Lovenkrands wasn't brilliant but a rating of 4 is shockingly harsh IMO.

Great effort from the team today, no weak links at all. Absolute bonus point. Ireland looks like he likes a quick one-two, run of games he could turn out to be alright.
