to be fair, comarisons between Dyer and Lennon can only really go as far as pace. Dyer is probably better more central and recently in a forward position whereas Lennon is a winger and probably wouldnt do much in a central position wether it be off the striker or centre mid. Dyer is better at finishing than Lennon and probably a bit smoother round the edges overall. With the formation England are playin I'd rather play Dyer than Lennon as one of the forward three if like someone said above, Crouch was brought in. If it was to be a propper winger then it would be Lennon, but if that is the case it'd basically be like playing 4-4-2 with 3 centre mids and a right mid cos Rooney isnt really gonna play as a left winger, which would mean total inbalance.

Unluckily for Emre, England is an English-speaking society! Yep...agree....shouldn't have been so silly...Its such a shame as well because I'm sure the UEFA or FIFA bastards are gonna come in and "make an example of him" and ban him for like 10 games or something. Hmm, there is a genuine debate about cultural meanings of words. I mean my Granparents still won't be convinced that calling a black person 'black' is now acceptable. i think Parker was MUCH better last season than Butt is this season!

Butt has been ok this season, I wouldnt say superb, he gives the ball away more than people realise ,if Butt Parker and Emre were all fit I'd have Emre and Parker in there. But then I would tell Parker that he has to be a DM and it dont look like Roeder is gonna do that!

someone mentioned earlier that dyer in midfield was the reason we lost to birmingham, i thought he was our most useful player in that game. We were obviously woeful in that game but i thought that anything positive (however remotely) came through him so i dont think he is that bad in midfield. Also, am i the only one that thinks the ball hit the top of dyers head and got a bit lucky with the finish with his goal yesterday? Did make me laugh as I play up front for my team and its great when shit you dont mean goes in!lol

I think that our style of football is likely to be erratic in that sense because our team is changing all the time, due to injury problems players are playing where they can. If the majority of our players were back then i guess we'd be in a better position to judge our style of football. I think if players like Emre, Dyer and Duff can be on top form then we would have quite an attractive style of play. The defence would still be shit though!
