    Jamaal Lascelles

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11678/11247920/jamaal-lascelles-says-manchester-united-players-went-missing-against-newcastle Indirect dig at two English centre backs, there. Clearly got his eye on the world cup

    Kenedy

He wasn't a regular last season but I'm sure he mostly featured on the right when he played, no?!

    Kenedy

    Just all of last season
  4. I do find it pretty baffling that he's entertaining the idea of extending his stay, unless he's confident that the sale of the club will go through.
  5. I mean, I'll obviously be bothered that we've not spent any money, but Gayle's sale just wouldn't factor into my frustration, at least from an on field contribution perspective. There's a good chance that he's good for at least one other goal this season like. You'd like to think so
  6. I mean, I'll obviously be bothered that we've not spent any money, but Gayle's sale just wouldn't factor into my frustration, at least from an on field contribution perspective.
  7. I actually wouldn't be bothered if we sold Gayle and didn't replace him.
  8. From the clips I've seen of him, he looks to shoot first if he's facing the goal and gets himself into scoring positions. Basically exactly what we need. Despite our poor end product, on the occasions where we do actually get a cross in we currently have no one that has any movement in the box.
  9. Gayle is worth no more than Joselu in this division.
  10. Pretty much as you'd expect today; a bit of effort and absolutely no quality whatsoever.
  11. Game over. Was unlikely we'd score one.
  12. Depressingly poor end product; I have literally no belief we're going to put a chance away. Same as our players.
  13. He loves a slide tackle so it's quite likely.
  14. I really can't stand Gayle. For an "instinctive" striker he makes so many basic mistakes.
  15. Okay, whatever you call it when he took the ball off Sane in the first half, and one or two other similar incidents. A tackle... that's it
  16. Tbf, both were showing the chances he's missed to say we need a striker, rather than slagging him off. It'll be the same again imo. You agree he is weak on headers though surley. I mean, I was obviously over generalising calling him a shite finisher, but it isn't up to scratch at this level based on what's been displayed this season.
  17. Murphy was our most promising player today, I like him even if he is raw. I continue to dislike Gayle; he's pretty shite at finishing for someone in the team purely for his finishing
  18. He's played alright overall IMO; some good interceptions.
  19. Whilst I agree, there's probably only one or two teams in this division not significantly inferior to Man City Of course be nice not to feel this way in 50% of our games though
  20. It really is depressing to see the team you support so significantly inferior to a team in the same division you're in. Joselu is such a poor player, the few times he's touched the ball he's been so sloppy. Darlow seems to become a somewhat adequate keeper after he's played a few games, but seems totally unsuited to being in a rotation because he's always dire when he first starts playing.
