He’s not really a dribbler, he’s more like an efficiency player. Gets the ball, makes a decision and an action, executes a shot (usually). See him as much more a wide forward than a creative player. He was wank tonight of course.
-
A lot of the time I think he looks better than everyone assumes TBH. But definitely can be shown up when the game is scrappy and intense. That does apply to most CBs though TBF. Dire mistake tonight of course.
-
Hasn't he been injured for like 80% of his time at the club?
-
I've said loads of times I think Wilson was on the way out sooner if he hadn't put together that freakish period of form that got him in the England squad. Meant that we decided to go with other signings instead of a backup striker.

Will be interesting to see now we have Willock, Anderson and Miley available. IMO all three should really be starting ahead of Longstaff.
-
Getting a bit concerned at the fact he never plays more than 60 minutes ever. Surely he should be able to run a bit more by now? That said he's absolutely class and if he can be in condition by the start of next season he'll be great.
-
Still think he's a starter with the current squad.

When does the program start? -
The Joelinton signing was very weird. Spend nothing for ages and then suddenly pick him to spend £40m on.
-
I don’t see the point in posting that much about Howe these days, or at least I try not to. The ultimate question is whether we should be fully behind him, and the answer is of course we should.
-
One of our main signings was a direct replacement, I think that says where he is on the football ladder.
-
He's a really, really average player and not good enough for anyone in the top 8-10. Not as a starter anyway. I guess he wants to stand up and give more but he's just not physically and technically capable. He would probably be better in a slower league where you get more time.
-
I have no doubt the club wants to keep Joelinton, doesn't make any sense any other way. There's no way Dan Ashworth was arguing for keeping a starting PL midfielder on £43k. Maybe there was a debate about the final figure, but that's normal.

Solanke is hot property at the moment.

The ‘Bruno’ shout is terrible, but I suppose the kids like it.

Aye I get that, just people were talking about the say that the manager should have.
-
The manager has to have a big input, the club has to have a broader strategy too. I guess for us it might be slightly more tricky because we are (probably) only just establishing our longer-term strategy and Ashworth will have been doing that.
