  1. That was during his mental ego phase though. It might still be true, but I would take it with a large pinch of salt.
  2. I'm looking forward to having Kazenga back, hope he's given a chance. Not sure how long he's out for though.
  3. I'll reserve judgement until the end of the window, but if we don't bring in another wide midfield player it's stupid to let Routledge go.
  4. I agree mate, he's a basically poor player but I'll always believe he cares and grafts hard.
  5. Weird one, unless we've done it to sweeten the Taraabt move the other way. So now we have no backup on either wing.
  6. Fuck. Off. Nearly jumped of the window there. The title needs to be changed ASAP, I thought Facebook was the source if info that he'd left us!
  7. I hope we don't sell him unless we have another RW lined up. Beyond Barton we're woefully short on the RW.
  8. I still think Routledge is overly criticised, in the Championship his crossing was pretty good IIRC. A bit of bad form and a dropping has hit his confidence. I think it would be a shame if he left, he's a good option for us.
  9. Aye, I've thought this for a couple of weeks, great news if he's working hard on his fitness.
  10. That's what I was going to point out. Amazing, in terms of ability he's only about 31st. Zing!

    John Carver

Good news, hopefully he'll work well with Pardew, he shouldn't have a problem with the players.
  12. People have been posting Colo in CM posts since he joined, it's no more likely to happen now than it was then. Give it up people.
  13. Players should be paying us for the honour of playing alongside Colocinni.
  14. Neither did my rawhide They're both good ideas, if it helps at all.

    Alan Pardew

I went for 'good', despite the Stevenage game. If we hadn't lost to them, and we'd held on against the mackems, you'd have to add an 'orgasmic' option to the poll.

    Alan Pardew

I agree as well, but I can see why Pardew brought on Tiote. He's not the only manager to suddenly decide he cares about the cup when he's about to get knocked out! He couldn't have expected him to get sent off.
  17. The club was falling apart when Colo joined, he probably deserved more slack than I gave him at the time (actually can't remember what i actually posted, but I thought he was shit).
  18. We do need squad depth, but you're right that up front is where we should only be looking for a starter.
  19. With our history of shite overpriced defenders, I think we can be forgiven for thinking Colo was another one. I certainly did at the time.
  20. I agree that players should be given more of a chance, and more shades of grey should be used in assessing them. Seems everyone's either class or shit sometimes, depending on their last performance. I think Perch might turn out to be an acceptable reserve FB, and I still think Routledge is criticised too much and would be alright with confidence and a run of games. Guthrie I don't know about, if he could improve his athleticism then possibly, but I don't know if he can.
