FWIW I’d love to see a significant amount of city regeneration around the stadium - that looks the best part of the Old Trafford plan. Albeit it might end up chain restaurants and lots of unaffordable flats.

Definitely seems like a massive stadium funded without any debt is our best way to catch up on some of the clubs around us.

I always assume that most or all home crowds are ‘bad’ from the POV of the ideal atmosphere that we seem to imagine. Every away crowd usually has at least a couple of rounds of ‘is this a library’ etc, then they have it done to them when they get back home. Always hard to know what we’re actually expecting or aiming for when we talk about atmosphere.

It’s his style that is difficult for me. Not tidy and technical enough to be a CM really.

It could've been given but I don't think it was a push. Defender feels the hands on his back and propels himself forward to try and win the free kick.

When he’s really up and running he’s worth a place. When he’s struggling and we’re not playing well it’s obviously harder for him. But very happy we have the big 3 in midfield for the final.

Problem is we don’t have game managers on the bench, we have very random, hesitant and wasteful players like Willock and Longstaff. Personally think Miley and Osula would’ve been better than Wilson and Willock to come on, but meh. Our options are pretty bad.

You’re basically right but I was raging at how careless we were towards the end. Not that Longstaff, Willock and Wilson will ever make a team more secure.

Thought he was decent. It’s always going to depend on how often we can get the ball to his feet in a dangerous position.
