He really seems to have been training that cut inside onto his left foot. Another level to his threat if that becomes a genuine option. Fair play, I used to think he was absolute dog but he's doing better than I ever thought possible.

Actually fairly relevant since he grew up a toon fan. It was all a dream
  3. Rated him more than most, I don’t think he’ll go down as a legend or anything but he always worked hard and I feel he was unlucky with the management changes after he signed. Should’ve really gone earlier to a league where he could really impact the game.
  4. Not sure going to Spurs is a good move for Iraola TBH.
  5. Starting to really warm to Ange.
  6. This is why I’m not as depressed as I maybe should be. At least we have a functioning football club again. I do believe the PL will eventually have to find a solution that doesn’t result in such a boring transfer market. They’ve been lucky this year because Man City have dropped off and the league has become competitive.
  7. Works both ways but one way is about 80% of the problem.
  8. Weather tomorrow is fine. Actually fine today down there, just a dicey journey for some of it.
  9. 2022/23 home kits without sponsor for £20 on Classic Football Shirts sale. If anyone wants to kit out a five-a-side team or something. It’s Castore but not too bad without the sponsor.
  10. Agree but doesn't fully answer the question of why we would choose that over the long-term retention of one of our best players.
  11. I get what you mean, if they’re cheating the system then that should be stopped. But I’d blame the system and the people supposed to be enforcing the rules. Semantics maybe, I dunno.
  12. Not sure I’d call it screwing us over? They wanted a player and they got him.
  13. Fuck PSR to replace Fuck VAR. Saying that, it’s not a great chant for the current players to hear.
  14. Newcastle season ticket holders must be among the luckiest 1% of the population. Probably about 500 people who would step in for each one that would walk away. Not that I want people priced out of course, but that discount price for PL football was never going to last.
  15. I really like Garnacho in theory, with a gameplan and some coaching he has everything. Based on mainly highlights, admittedly.
  16. Personally I like to sometimes observe and sometimes get involved, both are important to understanding and enjoying the game for me. I’d be near a standing section and I’d sing most of the time, but I probably wouldn’t want to be in it. Spreading the standing/signing around the ground would create more chances for people on the edges to join in.
