Again, does he though? Rodri is one of the best game readers and DMs in Europe. I’m not putting down Ando but that’s a very high bar.
-
A win and a draw more than them doesn’t seem crazy mind. Not that it’s reliable to back us to get any particular wins at the moment. But I do expect an improvement.
-
I’m not sure how often these players are ‘clearly not coming’ and how often it’s just us being pessimistic and happen to be right.
-
If Dirk Kuyt falls through we can look at him.
-
He’s at that level?
-
I want a new CM maybe, but I would lean towards a more creative one, possibly left footed. I'd rather not have to replace Tonali as well.
-
Well not sure how that stacks up with him covering loads of ground and breaking up multiple attacks a game. It's not a duel or interception if you just get to the ball before an opponent or cover the ground they want to run into.
-
For me it's a really significant problem if Tonali goes. We either need to transition to a style that dominates the ball or we will need someone with his ability to break up attacks. Otherwise we're taking the only real legs out of our midfield. I don't think we realise how much work he gets through.

I’m not sure what rebuild really means. Is it more than a normal summer window where you try to add some quality players to your squad? The first team back 4 and midfield is essentially locked down unless Tino goes. LW similar, Elanga and one other for RW. Biggest questions would be GK and striker I guess, but it’s not massive numbers is it?
-
Before January but I never expect much in Jan windows anyway. What did you mean by needing to change though? Just to do better than before? I agree with that but surely that would need to happen even if we changed Howe?
-
In what way? We've just appointed new people to the major executive jobs.
-
I mean, I think if we sell both our RBs it’s safe to assume we’ll sign one

Outrageous slander against Selhurst and SE London, but you’re right about the view. It’s dire. -

Kinda but an away game in London is never a given. -
We don’t really need a non-attacking CM unless we’re selling Tonali. Which I hope we aren’t.

Don’t think we’ve had a single game where it looked like the players didn’t give a fuck TBH. -
Kieran Trippier: to join Wolves on a free (various)

Key signing and the start of really feeling like a proper club again. Great player if maybe some questions over general lifestyle. Means we have some RBs on the shortlist or close to coming hopefully. -

Wish we were starting with a home game but massive if we go there and win. Not easy though. -
Aye, main reason to buy training gear is that it’s not sponsored. Most of the stuff I play football in is training wear from random clubs. Nice and clean. But good to have more money obvs.
-
I actually never minded it when we used to draw all the time. Can see why Howe thought it wasn’t accumulating enough points reliably though.
-
Returned from calf strain last night, did alreet. Not sure how that affects seeding.
-
I’m just looking forward to having competent (I hope) staff in the relevant exec roles and time for some sort of planning to have taken place.
-
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to help touts. Just saying if someone needed to guarantee a ticket. Bad form I know.
-
TBH just buying dodgy tickets from resellers is probably a solid option if you only want to go to a few matches and you want certainty. Not that much more expensive since you don’t need a membership and if you choose less glamorous games. And not that I endorse the trade, but I would consider if I didn’t want to go to so many games. Also refreshing the site in the day/hours before kick off sometimes pays off as well, as people decide they can’t go. But obviously you can’t plan in that case.
