Some heavy hitters in that list.

I guess if you think a 'top team' doesn't want you, you might decide to focus on getting the most money from whoever you can.
-
Most definitely not

I think he's overrated and didn't help himself with claiming to have the inside line on the takeover. And he's really badly suited to audio - he's terrible on podcasts. Everyone on POTT is bad though, not just him. The three of them together is unbearable. That said, I don't really read The Athletic generally.
-
I would've given him a chance but I trusted the club 100% when they decided against it.
-
Would say the same about penalties. With football being such a low-scoring sport, these things seem a bit too decisive. I guess you could argue it's part of the tension, that the game is usually so finely balanced. But one small incident can easily decide a game.

I don’t think there’s any way an away game will go to anyone without loads of loyalty points this season. Best bet is to try and find someone with points who will buy one for you.
-
They never are really. Because of the loyalty points system, only season ticket holders with many years of purchase history have a chance.

Awful

I’m not sure Joelinton will get straight back in now. -
He's nearly a 1 in 2 striker. For hat tricks

Man, can't wait for Saturday, thank fuck for this takeover. -
Depends what he has to pick from really.
-
Burn was a very respectable LB for Brighton as well.

I would say put in milestones and actual numbers about when you can be sacked, and how much the payoff will be for each one. I guess the top managers will always be in demand given how many clubs there are to work for. It's when he really average managers get juicy deals that is mystifying. -
Do we want Europe next season or do we want to wait for another transfer window or two?
-
I know what you mean. But that record in itself is class, what league position it results in is secondary to me.
-
I'm kind of enjoying this period of still being a relatively normal football club. I think in a weird way, the time when we're a behemoth packed with superstar signings will be a bit harder to adjust to
-
I've never seen Nkunku player but Mount is highly underrated in England IMO. High energy, technically great and excellent brain/decision-making.
-
I honestly don’t care where we finish, obviously barring a disaster. We need to keep our top players happy and attract signings of course, and the higher the better. But personally I’m just enjoying caring about every game and not worrying about going down.

I honestly don’t know why football clubs sign themselves up to these punishing contracts. Especially to attract deeply average managers. Or worse than average in Steve’s case. You could easily find the motivated managers by whoever was willing to leave for a very small fee if they got sacked. -
Worrying number of rolls who didn’t captain Haaland.
-
Definitely not me, I couldn’t believe anyone would have even suggested it.
-
I’m pretty sure he was injured even before the start of the match.
