Well exactly, going or not going hasn't really had anything to do with "loyalty". Even so though, how many points will you need for an away game now? Seems like it could take several years of going to every away game to earn enough. Which obviously you can't do if they sell to people with more points.

The secondary market is a bit more dodgy/unofficial here. Some clubs have their own sites which allow reselling. I got a ticket for Spurs v Liverpool for £100+ from the Spurs marketplace.

I guess the complicated thing for us, you could argue, is that it was more loyal not to go to games in recent years. This will be key for season tickets as well, rewarding people who you could argue enabled Mike Ashley by continuing to go. Not intended as a dig

Loyalty points are very problematic IMO. Can't earn any because you never have enough points to buy an away ticket. So it seems like it will always be the same couple of thousand people who can go to away games. Guess membership does potentially allow you a route in, but I'm not sure how many away games ever go to member sale.

Don’t really take any satisfaction from this TBH, don’t see any reason to. Good that Abramovich is being sanctioned but us wishing this on any club or set of fans seems a step too far. Chelsea is just a chess piece like Newcastle is.

There’s a question of structure if you remove Shelvey. Joelinton isn’t really a professional midfielder and Willock also doesn’t really provide that traditional base to a midfield. It’s possible that in time Bruno will be trusted to do that on his own, but isn’t at the moment.

You've never needed to be insightful to be a pundit. Barely any of them tell you stuff you don't already know. At least Richards is positive with it.

I'm very rarely impressed by him, his modes are decent or bad. This week was bad. As a slight disclaimer, Duffy and Dunk are a massive threat so he might have been rattled. And we had very little possession, so more pressure again. I personally hope he's backup by the start of next season.
