Yeah, but we’ve shopped in various markets. The PL only thing is a myth.
-
Oh, hadn’t thought of that, maybe. Arsenal might have to pay for his next gardening session.

Can’t see that at all, Hall has been class.
-
He’s left Man Utd already.
-
Who did Man City take action against?
-
No they won’t.
-
An absolute cowboy basically.
-
Not expect, no. I do think anything from 5th down is up for grabs for any team that can put some form together.
-
Last season we were hammering him for causing an injury crisis by not resting players

I actually wanted us to lose. Winning just proved that Mike Ashley’s criminal approach was working. I wanted us to lose very week TBH, I didn’t even celebrate goals by the end.
-
Yeah I get that, I just think we have to try and do something. If we don’t, then the decision gets more difficult in the summer. If you’re planning to sell some star players and start again then there are strong arguments for and against keeping Howe for next season. Depending on how the season ends up obviously.
-
I can’t see a situation where we fall so far behind that Howe gets sacked before the end of the season. Therefore we need to do everything to find him a couple of players in January IMO. As hard as that is, a clear injection of fresh quality is our best chance to have a good season. Probably more than getting a new manager. And that’s without thinking of the long term impact of getting back on the manager rollercoaster.
-
It will be managing minutes and load etc, but feels misguided for Tonali and Gordon who had just played well against Liverpool. We do blame Howe when people get injured as well though, so take your pick I suppose.
-
If we sell Isak I think we stay still at best. You could spend the £100m and still finish lower in the table. Unless you mean in the very long term, I guess.
-
If Bunce is telling Howe to start Longstaff instead of Tonali then he needs to be ignored TBH. Our need for performances and points is greater than the need to protect to the players at the moment. Who knows.
-
May not be as simple as that. I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think you can just be forced to agree to something that breaks an underlying law. Especially since these rules came in recently and not when we joined the PL. Also joining the PL is a function of being a football club in England and finishing top of the Championship, it’s not an opt-in club that you make a decision to join. Don't think this matters though because it seems PIF are trying to keep their noses clean.

Worried by how keen Vardy will be to face our defence right now. -
If there’s going to be an effort to really improve the squad, especially in Jan, and show everyone that the project is still alive, I would rather Howe gets a chance to lead it. Someone said a few pages back that we would get a bounce from a new manager, but I don’t really want to get onto that rollercoaster unless absolutely necessary. I’d like him to add a couple of new coaches as well if possible, our setup does seem a bit basic at times.
-
Exactly, it’s not like he flew in trying to hurt the guy. It’s not a red every time you kick someone’s shin.
-
Ironic this commentator talking about things that are a caricature of themselves.
-
Didn’t look a red to me. Ref should’ve given a yellow.
-
Mental teams these.
-
I think pretty much all of those players could start for a top 4 team. You’re right about the two halves of the squad though, I think that’s what makes it so hard to assess how good we should be.
