  1. The main reason why I never been too down. Of course, what we really need is consistently better performances, but we've never been far behind. TBH I don't necessarily expect the season to 'turn around' as such, I expect ups and downs right until the end. Would love to be wrong.
  2. He has done that really, that's how I would describe Ramsey and Elanga. They just haven't added anything.
  3. We haven't been a mid-table side pretty much ever TBH, it was relegation battlers straight to CL challengers.
  4. We do lack the ability to keep the ball but it's not because of the individual midfielders we have IMO. Tonali (although in bad form) and Bruno I'm sure could pop the ball around all day if the team was drilled in that way. Gordon has played for England at every level, all our defenders are technically sound. It's a strange one, at the moment I think confidence is really exacerbating our issues.
  5. Still not sure if he knew what he was doing or just swung his leg at it
  6. Who was the Scottish guy on Sky? Sounded like Burnley fan TV at times.
  7. Aye me too, incredible technique and movement with the ball. Take the mick out of defenders at times.
  8. He is weak as piss and mentally fragile at the moment, but I think he does have potential if he could focus. Howe would probably work him to death so probably not the best option for us.
  9. Hard to say, depends on assessment of his fitness. I don't usually take past injuries as a guarantee of future injuries, but then again it's not my money. If fit then I rate him extremely highly.
  10. If SB is Sven Botman then I think our best hope is he returns and plays well rather than being sold.
  11. Pretty much sums up my reaction to most of our games before I go online
  12. January is very hard however you look at it. Hope we can add a couple though, it's needed.
  13. Can't think of anything we're less likely to do TBH.
  14. I was going to say pretty cheap, but only if he fulfils his potential. Right now seems to have some sort of mentality issue that prevents him taking hold of games. I would definitely take him for that price, albeit a bit of a risk.
  15. Surely they just have a greater number of better players. And a possession-based style which protects them from having to work too hard off the ball. People like Gvardiol could probably play every day with the amount of running they have to do Of course you're right there will be things to learn from clubs with much more experience in these types of campaign.
  16. It was desperation stuff from Man Utd, of course it worked so fair play. I wouldn't say allowed to have the ball, I would just say the only way Man Utd could hold onto the match was to defend with their whole team. Semantics maybe. It's hard to break down teams who are all-out defence, that's why they do it.
  17. I'm not sure it's really out of loyalty, it's more like we needed to make so many signings that any position we didn't need a new player in was valued very highly.
  18. Why would a player be at Wolves is my question. Seems because they play for another club in the group and they are moved around like raw materials in a manufacturing company or something, just because it's expedient for PSR or whatever accountancy tricks they want to do. Don't know if that's always the case but maybe it's a factor in why they have some talented players but not much culture or identity.
  19. I just think we need to be more confident and consistently play better. Home or away doesn't really matter, it's just at home you can get away with more because of the boost you get and the lack of boost your opponents get.
  20. Calling what we were doing Dyche ball is a bit silly.
